you need a pair of glasses buddy you are blinking way too much i feel your discomfort
Any great movie or TV show needs to have characters we can root for or we can love and care about. Loki has this. Look at some of my favorite sitcoms of all-time...
I Love Lucy
Lucy, Ricky, Fred, Ethel
Gilligan's Island
Gilligan, Skipper, Thurston, Lovey, Ginger, Professor, and Mary Ann....
Married... with Children
Al, Peggy, Kelly, Bud, Buck, Marcy, Jefferson, Steve, Griff, Al's No MA'AM crew.
Three's Company
Jack, Janet, Larry, Chrissy, Cindy, Terry, Stan, Helen, and Ralph, and all the hot babes Jack and Larry hook up with.
We need to love these characters as if they are our friends we get to see weekly on TV. Stranger Things and Cobra Kai are popular because we love a lot of characters in them. We love Star Wars, Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, and The Boys for the same reasons. We love so many characters in them. That's who keeps us engaged to the story.
I personally didn't care for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. I didn't hate it but I found it overrated. I enjoyed Across the Spider-Verse more and even that threw too much into my face like Into the Spider-Verse did. Loki is the best MCU project ever. Since I love time travel movies like the Back to the Future Trilogy, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, and Hot Tub Time Machine, it's the perfect series for me to watch.
I hope Loki can go another 3 seasons. I believe it can but who knows? Almost every popular series doesn't stay consistently good the longer it goes. LOST had a terrible final season, their 6th one. People tuned out of The Walking Dead by S7. Then it kept going up to S11 and then more spinoffs. We know what happened to Game of Thrones after S6.
What more can the Loki series offer with Secret Wars coming in 4 years? Listen, I personally want more seasons of Loki. I feel it can become a fun time travel cop show. Think Bill & Ted meets Men In Black. Would love to see Loki and his TVA pals in more fun time traveling adventures. But would people still care if we know Secret Wars is coming?
So at the end of 2x4, every character got spaghettified except Loki and Sylvie? That's what's implied. We need Renslayer and Miss Minutes back. We didn't see the scene in 2x5 when Renslayer sees Alioth. I guess in the next one. I disagree with Erik Voss that Miss Minutes is the real villain of Loki S2. If she is, how exactly does that raise the stakes? She's a cartoon clock! She's less of a threat than Ultron for being a messed up, psychopath A.I.
*Frank* *Morris*
The D.B. Cooper worked better for me because nobody has a photograph of him. There was only a sketch of him. You can look up Frank Morris and you'll find a mug shot of him. He's a white dude and Eugene Cordero is a Filipino-American. I did find Casey's origin story fun to know. Had a great line saying, "We'll get caught like fish." Casey would be the oldest of the group since Frank Morris was born in 1926 and would be 97 in 2023.
I do feel we need more seasons because Loki already did such great world building with the TVA. It would feel like such a waste to end this series after two seasons. I feel it can operate independently without the need to set up future MCU films and other projects. Think of Tony Gilroy's Rogue One and Andor being their own thing in Star Wars without needing Jedis and lightsabers.
I'm hearing the viewership for Loki S2 haven't been good though. Worse than Ahsoka! I guess it's like Andor where it's well-written but nobody is really watching it except dedicated MCU or Loki fans. Be a shame if Loki ends after two seasons. But then again, maybe The Mandalorian should've ended after S2 too? I hope if Loki 2x6 is the last episode, I hope it ends on a high note. We'll probably see a Thor and Loki reunion at some point in the future.
Thor: "Loki, I thought the world of you. I thought we were gonna fight side-by-side forever, but at the end of the day, you're you and I'm me. I don't know, maybe there's still some good in you. But let's be honest: our paths diverged a long time ago."
BTW GUYS I think there will be a twist, where all of the TVA workers actually end up dead or worse. B15 is in NEW YORK 2012 so she probably died in (which is ironic as Loki caused it), Kenny probably dies, OB probably would much rather live in the TVA rather than his life on the timeline, and Mobius my guess would be his Kids die or something, his kid was playing with matches if you remember!
You know that thing that Loki does... that magick where he appears as another person, you know, like that time when he appeared as a 'Kang' who calls himself 'He Who Remains'... letting everyone think that Kang is responsible for everything... what a trickster and master story-weaver!
Hmmm.. weave... fabric of reality...oh no, that's fiction 🤔😋
Bespoke Post going crazy with the throwing knives
Loki is on another level, and this episode and whole season is just proof that Marvel shows can be fantastic!
People love to just panic they're inpatient just let marvel do what they bdo
The director of this series needs to be promoted! Bad writers need to be shamed 😂 so they don’t get their hands on anymore marvel stuff
Loki’s arc has to be one of my favourite character arcs I’ve seen
The best stories are about the human heart in conflict. Loki season two does this to perfection
George R.R. on the house. 😂
I just realized, Sylvie is doing the same thing in season 2, as she did in season 1. She’s traveling to a timeline right before its apocalyptic destruction! Only this time (no pun intended) she didn’t realize it (until the last minute). In season 1 she was physically running from the TVA, but in season 2, she’s psychologically running from the TVA.
I think Loki picked up B15 (Verity) before the Battle of New York. The show only puts the year, not the full date. The battle of New York wasn't on New Years Day, it seems more like summer time. There's plenty of time before the battle for Loki to pop in to pick her up.
I think you are right. I also believe, based on Endgame, the exact date was May 4, 2012.
I was hoping she would do something in 2012 that leads to loki getting the cube to start loki season 1. Like, him getting the cube wasn't an accident? I dunno why else they would have her character in 2012 New York for no reason.
@@izzeypally Probably the same reason why 3 infinity stones (Mind Stone, Space Stone, and Time Stone) were in New York at the same time… cosmic coincidence.
That HWR is using Loki and Sylvie makes sense since that could be how he tamed Elioth, using them to enchant it.
Facts
Omg that’s brilliant
Kinda makes sense when you think about the way he said he tamed it like he was tryna convince himself that he was the one who did it
Nope. That HWR ... was an evil Kang ...who discovered the TVA with living Time Keepers & Loki the actual HWR. Evil Kang killed them all made himself HWR .. but over time became a good Kang and has been trying to restore the original sacred Tmeline .. with Loki & OB building the TVA based on old designs from Victor Timely ... and they are competed to go back to the 1800's to get his help ... and he gets turned into spaghetti ... creating the Kang Multiverses ... with the Kangs born in the future ( not 1800) and able to complete the time traveilling devices.
Again. Good Kang .. didn't hide anything ... but gave the TVA to the Lokis ... to stop the Multiverse wars. It is Sylvie .. constantly bitching about no Feewill BS .. who freely kill Good Kang ignoring ... this Kang was once evil ... and ... there are more evil Kangs coming.
@@abelincoln8885 HWR isn't a "good" Kang. He didn't become a "good" Kang. He is the *most evil* variant of Kang. He wiped out the entire multiverse, along with free will, to establish the "Sacred Timeline." To maintain it, he has the TVA kill innocent people. He also hid everything behind the lie of the Time Keepers.
Loki's development is just pure joy to watch im sad that there is only 1 episodes left.
I think Loki's appearance at a hospital in 2012 not causing a stir is because the general public doesn't know who he is. Sure, an alien force invaded New York, but how front and center was Loki outside of his appearance in Germany? In Thor 3 he and Thor arrive in New York and no one bats an eye, other than to get a selfie with Thor. Yes, Doctor Strange, and many government officials know who he is, but the average person on the street just has no clue.
This is a branched timeline. Everyone was paying attention to branched vs sacred timeline settings at the first half of the season, and maybe the loom being destroyed destroyed the idea that there was a difference, but “branched timeline” popped up in every TVA member scene in this episode, so it’s possible it was more of an homage to the fate of the battle of New York, and that the battle of New York just didn’t happen in her branched timeline m
I do agree that they chose 2012 New York for a reason, and I think you're right about them originally wanting to connect B15 with the battle of New York, which is why they showed her putting an arm cast on a little girl. But then they realized like you said they didn't have time to convince her to come with him after attacking the city, so they changed the story from "the little girl is getting a cast because she was injured by Lois's army" to "the little girl broke her arm climbing a tree." Which is why they had B15 write on the cast "no climbing trees" so we wouldn't assume it was a battle injury.
The most ironic thing, we’ve already been told the story.
Meeting Loki on the timeline was OB’s first time seeing time slipping and that’s why when Loki met him in the TVA he said he has seen it before. Loki has given them their names. Loki gave OB Victor Timely’s book and that’s how he created the TemPad and said he learned everything he knows from the book.
And in the end of the episode, he goes back to “past” to get another shot at saving Victor Timely and the TVA. Some how, this isn’t going to be a good ending, even if it’s in the post credit scene. Kang will show his influence and that he’s in control.
Good to see a mcu show actually written well for a change
Pre-Disney Plus MCU shows would like a word.
@@giovannigiovanni.7220there are no pre Disney plus MCU shows
Ms. Marvel was well-written 🤷🏻♂️
And Moon Knight, for the most part
@@yogaza2noo
I really enjoyed this. So glad to hear Ryan be more positive and actually acknowledge that the first couple of phases are far from perfect. Also pleased to hear Whitney say that EVERY project has things to love, because they all do, and to suggest otherwise says far more about the person suggesting it than anything to do with Marvel. Great video and chat, reminded me why I fell in love with this channel to begin with.
11:32 i think it makes sense because Sylvie got warped away too, and he met the others first, whi didnt remember him. He probably thought that based off that, she wouldnt either
Right? It's not that deep, I wish fans wouldn't overthink and ruin things for themselves lol but w/e, not my perspective so I'm grateful
I think she just left.
Loki thought that Sylvie just got back to her original branched timeline just like everyone else.
@@nailinthefashion Yeah, modern "fandom" really can't see the forest for the trees, getting wrapped up in technical minutia (which they usually just misinterpret) and trying to find plot holes (which usually aren't) instead of just enjoying the story and characters. There's a big difference between legitimate criticism and nitpicking.
In normal life, I, like Loki, likely would have been surprised Sylvie knew who I was. Had I been going through such traumatic stuff as he was, it would have taken a miracle for me to expect that. Using just a smidge of empathy answers that question.
My theory for the end of this season is that after saving the tva and his friends, Loki timeslips back to the moment he took the tesseract. He decides to pick it up again thinking he has to do everything over but this time when he gets arrested by the tva, there is no Mobius there to save him. He is then sentenced to be pruned, leaving him in the void until Kang Dynasty or Secret Wars.
Either that or he decides not to pick up the tesseract and the end credits scene shows us his time-reel, where he escapes death from Thanos by disguising himself as a piece of space debris!
Definitely won't be the space debris thing.
@@Eireternal 😂
that kinda negates all the gravity of Infinity war though right?
Loki has a new power to time slip to any point, to 1) Save his mother, 2) Kill Thanos w/Casey’s drawer full of infinity stones. ;-)
@@GRAFRU68 Well they already negated all the gravity of the infinity stones in season 1, episode 1 so what's to stop them 😂
Remember hunter b15 and the others are on branched timeliness, so there may be no Thanos
I don’t think Mobius and the others were sent to the time line. Remember the first episode when the TVA captured Loki they reset the branch, so I think they don’t remember Loki (or anything about the TVA) because they aren’t the ones they worked at the TVA, I think they are the ones that stayed after the TVA took the Variants and had reset that specific branch. Sylvie remembered Loki because I think she escaped before the big bang in Episode 4 with the TempPad just like she did in every spaghetti scene.
Is this the 2nd time Loki has tried to convince the people who knew him to remember him or who they are?
Yeah maybe but they weren't in the secret timeline they all were from branch timelines
@@heathers.9740yes it was, the first time was at the end of the last episode of last season. When salvie killed HWR.
Correct. The OB, Mobius, B-15, and Casey we all know and love, died in the explosion. Of course now that Loki can time slip at will, he has returned to save them. That’s why that scene was such a big deal…he’s going to save his real friends
I was thinking what if in the next episode to stop Victor from dieing, they get him and OB. To build a suit and he makes the one we see Kang wearing? As it kind of looks like a old diving suit from the early 1900's
Totally! That would be killer!
Not if Loki ... is the original HWR. Then Victor must become spaghetti ... to create all the future Kangs ... including the evil Kang who killed Loki & the Time Keeeprs ... but then became good, and regrets what he did.
Loki is not only my favorite Marvel show but maybe my favorite thing from Marvel.
How did you guys miss the idea that Loki thought everyone's memory was wiped, that's why he thought Sylvie wouldn't remember him. He showed he didn't understand that they were sent back to their old lives/this was a variant of them.
Loki’s arrival in NY 2012 probably took place before the events of Avengers. There are 12 months in a year and the battle for NY did not take up that much time. It is also clear that his arrival didn’t take place in the aftermath of the battle.
Verity could have been from a branch where the Battle of NY never happened, or she could have been from a date in 2012 prior to the battle. But there is another possibility that would probably make more sense in real life than in a scripted drama. Would Verity have recognized Loki without his costume and horns? Presumably, there would have been news cameras recording the battle, but how many of them would have had closeups of his face? Maybe the government would have released photographs of a captured Loki. Then again, maybe not. But I agree that since they didn't have to set the scene in 2012, that would probably not be the explanation.
Given that Sylvie "saw" what happened, there is a question that should be asked. Was she sent back like the others, or did she temp pad back. If she did temp pad back, is there a scene she had with a Loki just before that we didn't see?
Exactly
The others weren’t “sent back”. They died. Those were their variants.
@@andycalmes4201- No they did *not* die and *yes* they were sent back to their own timelines.
We learned in season one that every single employee working at the TVA is a variant.
Right as the radiation blast was about to hit the window at the end of episode 4 the characters (Mobius, Hunter B15, Casey and OB) were immediately sent back to their respective branch timelines. *That* was the failsafe program that the female voice on the PA system was talking about.
@@music4thesoul80 I think we’ll learn what the failsafe is in the finale…and maybe you’re right. It doesn’t make sense to me that they were “sent back.” It makes sense that we were seeing their original lives on the timeline. Those variants weren’t a result of the explosion…those are their original versions of themselves before ever going to the TVA. At least that’s what makes sense to me.
Pretty sure she used he who remains tempad. Which I think in theory means she left Loki there not knowing his fate.
Loki may be able to travel to when victor was getting ready to go out take the device, and then go back so that they have time to install it. I feel like that's what might happen next episode.
Loved the video as always. As to your theory of deleted scenes, my first thought after watching was, "Why did Hunter B-15/Verity Willis' reunion part feel so abrupt and cut short?" So personally, i think youre right.
I think Loki needs to be the one saving Thor when they have their reunion.
I think Thor has to be the one saving Earth 616 while Loki meets him trying to save entire timeline.
I’ve got to say, season 2 of Loki has been downright cinematically compelling. You guys are right on the mark about marvel shining when they focus on the individual. For me, this last episode has resparked interest in the multi-verse saga. This is all very relevant to how exactly this phase plays out. I actually got goosebumps
We need to mention how incredibly overpowered Loki is now
Loki: God of Stories. He’s OP in the comics too🤙🏼
Ye he’s god now
Fax
Snap to the council of Kang, drop a TVA time bomb. Problem solved.
He also kind of was in myth.
This channel is probably my favourite and inspired me to do my own theorising.
Seeing that deleted scene you talked about would've been impactful, I think if B-15's life was on the sacred timeline that we would've seen it.
All the TVA members lives are on a branched timeline because they are all variants.
@@dreamlandnightmareYes but what are their versions like on the sacred timeline and what was their nexus event.
@@Byronic19134 That's not really relevant to the story since we only know the variants. The "sacred timeline" versions are probably just relatively unexceptional people.
Im genuinely obsessed with the lore of this friggin loki show , its wild bruh , if yall wanna watch a show with similar themes but pretty gory , the show “futureman “ with josh hutcherson is a huge hidden gem
Loki is a show that lends itself to showing your acting range and he’s using all his opportunities and we’re getting to enjoy it all
I feel that this season should have been a couple of episodes longer. I want them to answer a few more questions. But we will see what happens in this last episode coming up. I really hope there is a season 3 maybe in 2 or 3 years.
I think the scene where Loki was surprised when Sylvie recognized him, was just a shock, because everyone else didn’t know who he was and even though she’s different everything’s going to shit he doesn’t know what to think so he just assumed she didn’t know who he was
Exactly!
Finally. Thought for a sec you weren’t gonna release a review, it’s hard to not look forward to them.
There’s also the connection that Kang kept a script of everything, basically calling himself the author…like OB, who actually is the author.
The directors and the WRITTERS of LOKI are the best so far after ENDGAME and the Russo Brothers lets just hope they are hired for KANG DYNASTY and other projects like XMen projects
This show is insanely good might be the best marvel project made to date.
@@Jerney_Collective for sure after Endgame, with Guardians 3 and No Way Home Top 3 for me
@@StephTheCoolKid agreed on that. Especially when Tobey pulled up!
Episode 5, to me, feels like the closest we will probably get to seeing tom hiddleston as the Doctor. It felt really nice as a whovian but definitely wanting more!
Both Seasons felt like Tom Hiddleston as The Doctor to me, and Sadly because of *the Character* Loki...He can't be in Doctor Who!!!
Olivia Colman was the best part of Secret Invasion. Her character wasn't really required but I'm glad it was there.
Love seeing all these great youtubers coming together for these different videos ❤
The God of Stories 🙇🏻
I think you're right about the missing scene. When I saw the date and place, it was my exact same thought, that she would recognize him or just drop some statement about te battel of New York. Or maybe they're jumping back to that scene in the end, because it was almost impossible to notice that B-15 is Verity. The end could be, that we see, what happened in the Hospital. That Verity knew right away, that she had to go with Loki, because of her powers she'd know, that he told her the truth. And when everything is solved, B-15 decides she wants to go back to her branched timeline and asks Loki, if he wants to come with her. they're going to be roommates, visiting the TVA from time to time and it sets of the God of Stories arc.
I don't think they can make Loki and B-15 become such good buddies in the remaining episode that they would want to move in together. The episode would need to put huge emphasis on her character, give her a lot of scenes to introduce the viewers to her backstory and powers. I don't think the creators will be going that route.
Colton is always out here blowing my mind with his theories 😮 dang
The McDonalds scene was actually clever in the grand scheme of things because the timelines branched maybe this was a timeline where she actually existed because remember he couldn’t control where he went so he thought
Thinking about it, it felt kinda weird how scared hunter was after seeing him and then it wasn’t addressed again and he showed up again. Definitely felt like there was meant to be a bit more but they met time constraints:
I don't think it was scared as more of a confused WTF moment because she sees him step through the door that is normally never in the middle of a hallway.
Because he time slipped which is horrifying to look at compared to walking through a door the 2nd time.
What did you think of the episode?
What did You thin….oh, yea.
Colton, he had just experienced everyone else losing their memories, he just assumed Sylvie had too and isn't as intelligent as OB or Victor, please stop nitpicking so hard and let yourself enjoy media 🥰
Sylvie is starting to lose relevance. But other than that, this show has been great. I do often wonder, "what is the purpose of Sylvie in S2?" and I don't have a good answer.
As always, Colton is a PRO! And I agree, this is my favorite MCU show.
Maybe Colton, master of stories, can fill me in on what role sylvie is playing in the plot.
Best episode yet finale is going to be so epic can't wait for it!
So Mobius real name is Don.... wouldn't it be nuts if it was short for Donald Blake? 😱😱
I just saw that when 19:54 Mobius was talking about how he’s using his free will and wants to stay in the TVA, he’s surrounded by only one choice of pie, the Key Lime.
"I can rewrite the story."
"Glorious Purpose!"
Maybe the pieces (scenes or episodes) that feel like are missing will be shown in brief or as part of a “meanwhile” in other shows/movies.
This episode made all the previous episodes better
One way you can tell its predeterminism is the fact that there was a "Fail-Safe Mode Initiated" and it was flashing before the intro screen. Kang probably caused him to time-slip again to get to where he needs to. That's why the branches are probably dying.
18:07 I concur! Season 1 One Who Remained said, and I'm paraphrasing that one of his varients captured Oliath but that He Who Remained tamed him? Or something. He Who Remains just comes up and swoops the work and claims it as his own.
Thank you for bringing that up! I was wondering why this hasn't been focused on. Timely/Kang/He Who Remains is a conman and charlatan.
I believe they stayed away from actual days so they won’t have that issue. Because it could be 2012, and Loki could have came and won… but since we didn’t know the day we are in a new world. Casey (Frank) is the only obvious one, but everyone else I feel they made it “open” so they won’t have to create a HUGE backstory.
i really hope the theory does come true. sons of yorin are the time keepers and OBs books are the script the kang "Writes". then everyones characters are explained like kang is actually all powerful but also ultiimately a con man than stumbles apon the power
As an 80s kid, the "All Aboard" signage opposite the bookstore was a nice little shout out to Ke Huy Quan's Club Obi Wan scene in Indiana Jones & The Temple of Doom.
Episode 3 is still my favorite of the season thus far. Loved the stuff with Victor Timely and Miss Minutes.
I don’t think there was a “deleted scene” - I just think that there are times where you are a better and more creative storyteller than the actual writers of the show!
There is a huge difference between writing a story, and watching something somebody else crafted and pointing out issues in hindsight that could have helped or creative differences.
@@Byronic19134 Nah… I’m pretty sure if he was in the writer’s room he would have made these same suggestions.
There is still one episode left to this series so it's possible that we'll learn what happens to Hunter B-15/Dr Verity in 2012 in that episode.
@@ironshoes1720 The Battle of New York was also May 4, 2012 - it’s possible this was before that in 2012. 🤔🤷🏻♂️
The MCU needs all their projects to adopt the TV show format and save the theatrical releases for Avenger Movies
On the clip of Loki and the two shot glasses. In the background, take a look at the pool players. AN EXTRA CHARACTER MATERIALISES just as he says the words 'want my friends back'
Rewatching these videos after the whole season came out, I have a ton of respect for how you called what was going to happen in the second episode. Especially now that we know they had to rewrite episode 5 in a weekend to accomodate the demands of the studio heads.
I think I remember reading a leak saying that Mobius had a sad story arc, so if it's true that Mobius still has a timeline to go back to, maybe the sad part is that Mobius to go live his live outside the TVA and to lose his memories of the TVA. It would be a sad ending for Loki, since Mobius is his closest friend of the gang.
WHAT NO mobius can't get his memory erased, I'll be so sad
I want to know how Sylvie could go straight to Loki when her world was dissolving.
She had HWR's temp pad.
I think she has a TemPad, doesn't she?
She has the most powerful tempad in the multiverse
For the past several MCU projects I have been strictly catching up through this channel, but this show really has brought me back on the MCU ride!
Colton amazing theories! Can’t wait for the next videos y’all put out on this!
I'll admit I haven't been that impressed with much Marvel material since Endgame.
But Loki season one was great imo. My only gripe was that Loki felt a little weak and emasculated at some points and it was more Sylvie's story but from the first episode in season 2 when Loki gets straight to business to figure out what happened after the events of the season one finale culminating in him and Mobius hunting down Brad (X5) and Loki using his shadow and illusion magic to capture X5 and the scene with the time cube interrogating Brad was proper creepy with that wide grin like he was his old New York invading, murdering Loki. Even though we knew while watching him and Mobius were playing Brad but I wonder how far Loki might have taken it at that point?
A show that weaves philosophy, psychology, real physics, theoretical physics… into great story telling, direction and flawlessly genius production design - this is gold! Greatest Marvel output to date holistically.
I suddenly realized that OB is like the Key Maker in the Matrix, where he holds a significance of TVA where he opens the door to the re-creation of the TVA, anywhere, everywhere, all at once.
Episode felt like a filler for sure but hopefully it’s a good build up for the finale.
If this is considered filler then I wish everything was filler or better lol
A filler doesn't push the story/plot forward, genius. Loki season 2 is only 6 episodes, and none of them are fillers. It's obvious you have watched way too much pointless anime that has rotted your brain. 🤣😂🤣
@@nailinthefashion-- I agree! It's as though people have forgotten that good storytelling requires connective tissues to allow the culmination of stories to have great impact/payoff. This episode is essential-- we saw where the main characters originated and Loki finally having to admit to himself what his core motivation has always been. Now, he's driven to do something necessary, for everyone, with the proper motivation central in his psyche. Not a filler at all.
@@maybachyard lol the whole episode felt like filler right up until the last 5 minutes.

I love this channel. I respect the hell out of these reviews.
Just everything about the loki show is so creative and unique as well as just well done.
Such a great conversation in this video!! So sad that there’s only one more episode of Loki but I’m excited for it and The Marvels this Thursday!!
Colton is great and Whitney is always a great surprise!! Excellent breakdown. I’m loving the Show
THANKS for this, ScreenCrush Gang!!!!!!
Oh man ! That's some quality breakdowns & Theory!
Where Loki finds all the variants, it takes place on branches timelines, where Loki's attack on New York & The Snap never took place, hence BRANCHED timelines.
Sylvie remembers who Loki is after the loom explodes for the same reason she was able to cause Loki to time slip, the same reason she's the last thing destroyed when her timeline collapses: She has the Master Tempad. She has ALL of he who remains' powers in that device. She hasn't realised it or tried to find out how to use it, but Loki has because he's been connected with it ever since it was used to banish him.
OB has a variant that was the codiscoverer of the Astoria, Oregon pirate treasure when he was just a kid! He also has a variant that was an assistant to famous archaeologist Dr. Henry Jones Jr. During the 1930s.
Lol! Never bought your merch b4, but that "WOW!" T-shirt is incredible! U did Owen Wilson dirty, but I'm ALL for it....
I've had the same thought as Colton - Kang doesn't invent anything, he just takes credit for everyone else's ideas. So far, all his successes have been built on the expertise of others: Janet to fix his ship, O.B.'s imagination and knowledge of physics, and Ravonna's intelligence and tactical thinking to win the multiversal war. In terms Victor Timely would understand, he likes to think of himself as a Tesla, but he's actually an Edison.
I like how Loki is telling the MCU how it can fix itself with its story telling. Don't focus on the what where when and why, they should focus on the who. People are at the center of story telling and that what makes a movie worth watching.
Has anyone else noticed that, the moment when Loki says "I don't want to be alone" in the bar, another Loki appears right behind him???? 25:45
This show also has a vibe, also Oz like, of Thor Disassembled, when Thor breaks the scroll of looped sagas, breaking the Norns. All the Adgardians have their own story loop.
The Loom. The Fate. Three entities that brings ones' or a planet's destiny. Clothos as OB, Lachesis as Victor Timely, and Atropos as Renslayer in a constant endless loop. What is time?
And yes, Loki just wants to be friends with them. 😅
ScreenCrush & Coffee in the morning is gold ⭐️
The guy that lives in the TV has the best job. Sits in a chair, stares at the cameras, says a couple lines, gets a check. How do I apply.
I was not a huge fan of loki as a character but after watching the loki series, I am invested to see what loki can do
The thought of OB creating the myth of the Time Keeps sounds like it would work.
Of topic, those bullseye knives are phenomenal throwing knives. Ive had a set for quite some time now. Well balanced and perfect for practice or competitive throwing
At 20:30 I think that Loki and the rest of them created to the TVA and when it comes to mobious having a choice to stay or be with his kids I think that lokis going to be the one who runs the TVA and with that Mobious is going to be allowed to go to and from the TVA into his original branch timeline until Kang somehow takes control over the TVA again and wipes everyone’s memories again.
I love the comment taht what makes this show so great is strong character + strong theme! I agree, when a story is centered around characters, then the plot has a much bigger impact. I've heard that part of why the later seasons of Game of Thrones (that were released ahead of the books) felt so sub-par was because the books heavily focus on the characters, and the plot follows them. But without the book for reference material, the show runners focused on moving the plot along....it makes me appreciate strong story telling so much more when you have that direct comparison!
This season has been amazing!
I actually watched the ad this time, but whiskey is a spirit, distilled to remove as much water from it as possible. It's better to chill it with a stone instead of diluting it with an ice cube
It would be cool if it‘s Loki‘s Original Timeline - where he escapes with the Tesserakt. ☺️
One of the most intense endings of all time. Lokis confidence in realizing hes in control bled off to me and gave me a sense of confidence. Nothing is impossible. Awesome video i love you all!
When he finally gained control of time slipping I lost it! Such a dope ability to have especially without needing a tempad.
I think when the loom exploded Sylvie peaced out at the last second with the he who remains tempad. Loki just survived cause he’s a god, but the others got wiped out/spaghetti’d off camera.
They didn’t return to their timeline. They were there the whole time, just not yet plucked.
I feel like it makes sense and feels very natural and puts you in Loki’s perspective that the show in season 1 was all about “who’s the man behind the curtain and what’s really going on here?” While most of season 2 is very much aimlessly meandering around not knowing what purpose or ultimate goal any characters are trying to achieve because Loki doesn’t know what he wants or what he should be doing and neither does anyone else really. Thus it’s pretty great that we the audience don’t exactly know what the hell is going on with this season or what any goal is making us feel like Loki does.
In episode one Loki uses the tesseract to evade the avengers and is immediately caught by the TVA. While in the TVA everything is pretty confusing for him and his immediate goal is to figure out what’s going on and how to play the situation to his advantage. We the viewers kinda wanna know the same things and are just as confused about the TVA and the situation as Loki is and want to know what’s going on, as he does.
And pretty much every episode kinda puts you in Loki’s perspective.
Every episode ends with me thinking damn I love this show. Idk how they continuously make me feel this way but credit to them.
