only tip i didnt see in your video is that you can avoid parking and taking trams etc if youre in MT by parking right near the NB TDD and using the surface entrance.
Lol, I came across 1 of your ships plus 2 others outside a bunker you guys may have been raiding, but you were not in sight. Now I know how to salvage , I will melt them next time.. love the content !
Looks like a fun gameplay loop, might give it a try sometime later when I start getting back into SC now that it's in a playable state. Idk how because I don't have one of those scrap ships but I can figure that out later.

Does the failed negotiations mission come up again if you turn it in?
(Black kite) I havent tired it since i dont have a salvage ship but could someone go in turn of the shields one continues with the mission the other salvages ship that way you could decrease the amount of time or is that what he was talking about

This was a great video. I just got the vulture when 1.18.2 dropped and now the scanners are buggy and I can't find any salvage. I've been doing the 890 jump missions for salvage and just going back and forth to sell.

Try any bunker or landing zone -- there are a lot of wrecks about now thanks to PES. Especially around New Babbage and Port Olisar. Use the cutting device on the Multi-Tool to breach abandoned ships and turn off their shields.

When i dont have the mission, I use my rented andromeda (186270 for 3 days rental) and take it a bit towards the center of the station so its not in anyones way and scrap that. just park it turn shields off kill myself grab my vulture and scrape away. usually hit claim before i leave so i can do it again XD
Unfortunately CIG broke salvage since you cannot scan for it.
Don't even need to. Just go to any bunker or landing zone or space port and there are a handful of ships available to salvage. Use the Multi-Tool cutter device to breach the doors, turn off the shields, and then salvage away.
@@billywashere6965 You cannot salvage in armistice zones and unless you have accepted a bunker mission you cannot go there without being shot at. I'm talking about the game loop CIG praised and marketed for quite some time. Which worked in 3.18.0 and as soon as they stopped selling salvage ships immediately broke in 3.18.1.
@@jmcnear6688 Yes you can use your salvage beams in armistice zones -- I've tried it, but the shields on the vehicle have to be down (it's also how you can repair your vehicle in an armistice zone using the hand-held multi-tool).
The biggest issue is always that vehicles in armistice zones are shielded, so the only way in (in armistice) is to use the Multi-Tool cutter device. Get inside and disable the shields. Give it a try sometime.

Can you spawn your own large ship and then call out your vulture and scrape?
Yes. But the reclaim timer makes the overall income not as much.
@@LonewolfDelta-db2hh couldnt you just repair it? repairs are usually really cheap

Havnt been able to find any salvage. Vulture is more or less worthless currently
Hmm I looked for 2 days and found zero salvage. I checked hurl1 and crusader moons,plus people in chat saying if you manage to find it you can’t sell it sometimes. rsi is very good to sell you $170 ship and then brake gameplay 😂 I will try 890 jump mission, but I couldn’t scan for salvage I really tried, only can see 1700 rocks.
U dont need to spend 170$ for the ship

Oh really I thought you must give them your money 😅🤷♂️ I understand that nobody is forcing me to support the project I do it bc I love SC and have been doing this for 4 years. What I’m upset about is adding XT on to the barely working servers, instead of fixing game mechanics. We tried doing XT maybe 8 times on different servers US/EU, not even once mission worked as intended. Let’s say you pick up cargo you get killed or bugged out, everyone on server can’t finish the mission bc cargo disappears with you. I’m not even going to say anything about desynchronization rn, if you haven’t seen in it, be my guest and log in. I keep asking my friends on discord if he is inside of the elevator or outside. And yes I know it’s alpha.

Tonight I tried some salvaging starting from Microtech. Absolutely nothing on MIc L2, L2A and L2B. Nothing at Mic L5, Nothing in the Aaron belt, nothing at Hur L2. I found a completely abandoned C2 near Hur L2 and started scraping it after scanning it throghtly. The Refinery Station immediately started firing missiles at me despite me being outside the armistice zone and had to flee. I checked the my mobiglass and I had No Crimestats at all.
In armistice zone there is no way to scrape anything as the scraping ray is locked. I feel very strange that I couldn't find a single panel floating around in 2.5 hours and I literally made ZERO aUEC. I lost money due to refuelling and repairing instead. I found plenty of rocks, including quantanium dense ones, but not a single salvageable peace of scrap.
If this is the game play of a 175$ ship I want no part in it.
I'm not here to get rich, but, I think "at least" the yeld of a couple of medium bounty should be possible in about 15 minutes of gameplay.
Did you have a go at what I mentioned in the video?
Currently SC is broken beyond belief.
