So people can understand, coach jav is such a great guy. He sent my special needs son a signed glove from his fighters because he found out my son was a fan of him, his gym and fighters. Didn’t ask for anything in return and still keeps in touch and always writes us back. That’s what kind of man Javier Mendez is. So coach, you have got a family of supporters forever. We love you brother! Thank you for all you’ve done for my family

At 170 lbs, all the restlers & grapplers turned into strikers. Usman, Burns, Covington..They're all striking heavy now.

Javier Mendez & Khabib had a bond like father & son. I think even Khabib once referred to Javier as his 2nd father. What a coach, what a man! Javier Mendez is one of the all time great mma coaches. He’s up there with the likes of Greg Jackson & Trevor Wittman.
