- Israeli police say they are investigating after a group of right wing settlers ransacked a convoy of aid trucks bound for Gaza.

Several people were arrested after the road was blocked, trucks set on fire and food thrown onto the ground.
Israeli tanks are reported to be pushing further into the southern city of Rafah, where the UN says almost 480,000 Palestinians have fled in the last week, warning they face "constant exhaustion, hunger and fear".

Ratio of civilians to military personnel killed on the 7th was 1 . 4 : 1 - lower than any of the iTf "mowing" operations, which has a ratio of 7 : 1
According to UN OCHA data from 2008 to 2022; The collateral damage on the 7th was significantly lower than any of the ITf "mowing" operations, which had a ratio of 7:1 with 1,023 military personnel out of 6,541 total.
On the 7th, with 473 military (418 were iTf military personnel, 55 belonged to the police) out of 1148 total, the ratio of civilians to military personnel was a mere 1.4:1

Well, for one, because as far as I'm aware no-one has claimed the attack, so it's difficult to report on things without facts. Secondly I guess the images of people destroying food and medicine going to starving people is kind of way out there.
