Males are usually outnumbered 2 or 3 to 1 on these trips, however this does not mean you will necessarily chat to several of the girls on the trip. Many of the girls are friends long before the trip started, and many are hyper safety concious particularly around people they don't know.
The focus for a young man should be on the experience, and if possible make a deeper connection with one of the other dudes in your group.
Ideally you want one of the young ladies to approach you, rather than the other way around, as young men can get themselves into trouble if they instigate an unwanted advance. Young men particularly need to temper expectations.
These are observations of my experiences, having gone on a Top Deck group tour in May/June 2018.

Di you have any tours you would recommend that’s for 30 plus? I find that group tours is a lot of younger people

The tour companies I’m familiar with are between the ages of 18-35, however they normally have people in the older 20s and early/mid 30s. I have noticed that the uncommon destinations outside of Europe have older travelers. I hope that helps!
