The Best Of Italy Tour, Rome with Globus Tours

- That's right viewers we went to Italy for 11 Days! No motorcycles, just a big Tour Bus! We hooked up with our friend Janet Piccolomini @ DREAM VACATIONS and she booked us a Globus Tours, The Best Of Italy trip. We came back with more photos, video and friends from this awesome vacation and want to share them with everyone. We start here with our first and second day of the tour, traveling from Newark, NJ to Rome, Italy and our time in Rome visiting the Vatican City, The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and The Pantheon. We will be posting more video of our tour breaking it down to different locations we covered throughout Italy. Also, look for a special Video of all Marie's Photos, she came home with over 1800 photos, all gorgeous! I also plan on a Globus Tour review, which will cover our unbiased opinions and information which may be important to rookie tour bus travelers like us! The video I was looking for before embarking on this trip.

Hi and thank you for watching, I hope you enjoyed viewing it! There was a representative at the airport to great us and transport everyone to our hotel. My wife and I were traveling alone to Italy where we met up with our group which became 40 of our friends over the 11 days in Italy. I am in the process of editing a review of our trip that I will post on CZcams soon! Hopefully it will answer a lot of questions about our experiences!

I just called Globus and was told that the Best of Italy tour did NOT include going into the Colosseum. Did you do a separate tour to the Colosseum?
Yes, our tour included the colosseum. This Globus Tour, The Best Of Italy, was in September/ October of 2023. I am not certain what there future offerings include. Thanks for viewing!
I just went to the Globus website and The Best of Italy still includes the colosseum in Rome on the second day.
Did you book your own flight?
Thanks for watching! No we did not book our flight, that was all booked through Globus which is given a better rate for airfare. We still had control over our seating and flight schedule. You don’t need to book the airline through Globus we just did. Some of the people that were on our tour actually booked an extra day in Rome before the tour. This was a great idea and I would suggest it since it gives you a day of rest on arrival and a free day to explore Rome on your own before you join the tour.
