Glad you enjoyed your trip. I agree on your comparison with Europe: some parts of the world have way more English speakers and are easier to plan yourself than others. That phone story does sound shocking. I remember you mentioning it during your series. Glad you didn't lose it. Note to self, get a strap or pop socket for my own phone before vacations! Argentina is one of my bucket list destinations, and I've been reading the inflation rate issues they've been dealing with. Cash is still king it seems, so American and maybe exchanging some money before you arrive might be the way to go. I've also heard that Western Union is pretty popular to use in South America.
