The Heynow X3 has a fan, and this doesn't but having the hard drive is a big upgrade over the cheap SD cards they were using. I like this one. If my Heynow dies I will consider this one.

Another favorite one of mine.
Since the price of a N95 / N100 Mini PC isn't much more than this device, I think people will start to move away from Android boxes like these and move to Mini PCs for budget emulators. Kinhank sells a N100 Mini PC with the 60K+ games for around $250, but you can get a N100 Mini PC with a Kinhank external hard drive with this game set for less. For under $300, you can pick up a i3-1215u laptop or a Mini PC for slightly less (with more RAM).
Also, the rom set (assuming it's the same one) is fairly clean, except for the repeats in the Arcade / FBNeo / Mame areas and the rom dumps in the NES and SNES sections.
Finally, I notice that the drive has Amstrad, Amiga, Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum games. I never attempted them on Android, but I think these are better off with a PC.
Of course, as Wicked said, you can add Batocera or Retrobat with your own games to any PC.

As phone hardware, Chromebox, and Chromebook hardware gets cheaper, we may see cheap Android Boxes that have a GPU. Since Android already supports GPU's on phones; this shouldn't be too hard. At the same time; China is starting to produce X86 processors, which shocked the industry. I think electronics will soon get cheaper to produce due to abundant energy being around the corner, and if we see robotics drop in price like every other tech, smaller and smaller companies will be able to assemble android boxes, cheap gaming systems, etc.
If Sony and Microsoft go all digital; it could be a boost to the budget PC boxes, independent software companies, etc, but we shall see.
especially for N64 on-up games. I agree the N100 or better is the best option unless people are ok with them underperforming.

A simple clean plug & play Emulator that will play N64 Smoothly under $100 is what we are waiting for..
Powkiddy y6 Stick looks like it came close but falls a bit short.
I literally bought a used $100 office PC with no graphics card. I can play Dreamcast N64 and PSP flawlessly aT 1080P with no slowdowns. it's way cheaper to do it yourself and you get better performance. I'm not a computer guy and after a few DAYS of just tedious stuff you get you A pretty good setup
People always say get a pc or something that will perform better. Ive got plenty of pcs i just find these wierd consoles fun to look at and mess with

Nope.. nvidia shield is so much more powerful.

Mini pcs blew away the shield years ago. Heck can only play lpw end gamecube at full speed. A 50 dollar 4th gen mini pc blows awsy the shield.

Pretty expensive stuff actually, I'll stick to my original cheap Super Console X, Powkiddy V90 in my pocket, and Retroid Pocket 3+ when I go on holidays 🤗😊😍.
Yeah i think the only bonus here is your getting the hard drive and actual sound tracks in the PS1 games not really much else to offer and it's expensive for what it is lol.

Of course you can, as long as they are compatible with Android's Bluetooth subset (not all are)

in general i really like super console
I’ve been loving my X2 Pro, and added a bunch of new Saturn & Dreamcast games, plus full versions of PSone games (with music).
A newer version of the box with more storage and better cooling sounds great - especially if GoldenEye works better - but I’ll have to price it out.
No PS2 is fine, as I have a 2TB PS2 HDD for that.
But my next purchase will probably be a handheld (Retroid Pocket 4+???)

Ik heb hem nu ook in huis de super console x3 pro maar krijg het niet voor elkaar. Als ik hem opstart krijg ik alleen het Android gebeuren maar niet waar de game 's staan. Sd kaart er in en ik krijg een kodi versie met een rode skin, maar geen game's hij ziet op een of andere manier de hardeschijf niet kunt u mij zeggen wat ik fout doe of over het hoofd zie.
De versie waar op je reageer staat alles op de interne HDD.
Heb je andere versie dan kan het zijn je SD niet werkt.

Today with a 50$ motherboard, 60$ of ram, 80$ of a second gen Ryzen Apu and 50$ between case and an old fsp power supply you can play up to ps2 with no problems. And that’s when ends for me. For example modern Chinese handhelds can play vita, ps3 and switch games but can you call them “retro gaming handhelds”? For me a device for this purpose needs the bare minimum to run games up to psp and being cheap..
