There are so many of these console systems its getting rediculous and i'm not sure which are the best ones as i'm considering getting one soon. Would be great if you could a video of your top 10 systems or something like that? Just a thought on helping some of us decide which retro system to get in the big jungle of systems? Regards Darren

I just got the 256 gig. My mind if friking blown.. coming from a Pandora's box saga 3d. I'm in shock. This f**** thing is amazing got it on cyber Monday for 140 on Amazon. I can't be any happier. It dose have 3D0 and it even has ren stempy on the original game boy. I'm laughing so hard right now 😂 I just hope it runs forever.

Same. Sony in particular really dropped the ball when it comes to backwards compatibility. What little is available you have to pay for all over again.
THIS IS WHY THERE IS NO POWER BUTTON: When you first plug it in it's on, You go into the setting and hit system shut down to turn it off, it takes a while but works. To turn the system back on use the remote control. Hit the red power button 2x turns the system on. FYI for anyone who wants to know why no power button. :)
Honestly, I like what they did. The X3 is often considered hot, they cooled it down well and added some personalization, it performs pretty well for the hardware. Still, not checking heavy hitters like doa if they work is not good. The extra money they charge should allow the buyers not to have to tinker a lot.
Upgraded the Emuelec….slap it on another Android box with a fan and call it “all new” put it on eBay starting at $199.99 (not kidding) shipped from China.

The Saturn has always been this super complex to emulate system. Back in the 90s not even in our wildest dreams we would have imagined to have a working emulator, much less on a little Chinese box.
The Sega Saturn is very hard to emulate. It has so many processors. An absolute programming nightmare. Still one of my favorite consoles. Nights into dreams, Darius, Bug, Gex, Clockwork Knight.. Gads, I'm old! Lol!

Letztendlich aber ein und das selbe Spiel. Es ist vor allem immer viel Material dabei, das eigentlich nur für den Asiatischen Raum taugt und konzipiert wurde. Nach monatelangem aussortieren und Namensbereinigungen kann ich das Projekt hoffentlich bald abschließen. Danke für dein Video.
Only thing I don't really like is that it's kind of fugly. The first thing everyone should do is make a good backup image of the SD card. These are infamous for having crappy off-brand SD cards that fail soon. Mine actually had a Sandisk-branded one but it could be a fake. I needed a larger card anyway so I could add my own ROMS. I added my entire 3DO collection and it works just fine. I'm still new to this so I haven't figured out how to use multi-disk games yet.
I watch most of your videos and in general I agree with what you say. But I have noticed that you get kind of dismissive of these systems if they don't run perfectly, without any sound issues or graphical glitches. And you always sh*t on their cheap controllers, what do expect for that price really? I realize that may bother some players, but personally unless it's a serious issue, it doesn't really affect me. Especially at the cost of most of these systems and what you get for that price. But that's just my opinion of course. Over 100k games, most play just fine, and I'm satisfied for under $100.

Whilst the raised design with a quiet fan shows some good thought, the final price is very high considering that it is just a standard Android box at the end of the day. The price should have had an S905X4 at the very least.
Their newest one has the S905X4 but I heard from one reviewer that it doesn't perform as well as the previous versions with the S905X3. Maybe the reviewer got a bad system but that'd be weird because he received it directly from the company.
Would you consider the GT King to be superior to this? This market is completely oversaturated and not consumer-friendly at all, and I'm not super tech savvy, but would like to get one of these that is essentially plug and play, but also performs at least reasonably well up to Dreamcast. Thanks.
I just got one and after 2 days of playin the sh*t outa this thing I love it. I used to mess with roms on my old pc but this is all on one spot with easy menus. Paperboy is so fun and arcade accurate. Lots of old arcade games that this 47 year old dude grew up playin. I wished i could get my steel series stratus xl to connect to it. It pairs but wont do anything. However the controllers that game with it work fine and I'm playin the arcade accurate yie ar kung fu and commando and it's a blast. I can hardly get outa the arcade section there are so many games. I played a few mins of metal gear solid on it the other day and I'll be going back to play that again. Some good ps1 games on there and so far it runs great and the games are so fun. Showed my bros and now they all want it. My homie wants one to connect to his at games mini
Yeah, it's definitely a pain. I just started messing around with mine. I managed to clone everything onto a 512gb SD card but I needed to install two utilities to do it. I'd rather they had Android and the emulator suite on internal storage and the SD card only had ROM files on it so anyone can add or delete with no issues.

I have just started to get intereste in retro gaming espcially for stuff like dreamcast, sega naomi etc... I currently own an Nvdia Shield Pro (had this for years for streaming etc...) is there anyway I can set my box up to run a full emulation pack like this box or is it just generally easier to buy a prebuilt emulator box like the one reviewed?

I think so, on mine a lot of the japan titles are now in English vs the x pro. Also, the remote was set up to run N64 without having to go remap it vs x pro. I only have one theme, that was a bummer. The remote turns it on, the program has a system shutdown button that saves and shuts the machine down. You don't have to unplug it. I haven't had to mess with any FPS they are set at 60. I really haven't mess with any settings other than the initial controller and wifi stuff. (I like it better so far, I am very very new to these machines. I returned an x pro cause I messed up the controllers and couldn't figure out how to fix them. I didn't make a menu button. So, I am fresh new.)
I've been thinking about these game boxes but I'm halfway in and halfway out. I ran emulators on an original Xbox which only lasted 3 months. Every time I think about ordering one then instant regrets. I have the Anbernic rg35xx and I'm mostly good with it. The only nes game I tried that didn't work was wheel of fortune. I play my switch and 3ds mainly. One of my regrets about ordering one. Will I even play it?

Good question. I have the Super Console X. You get a lot of games for the money but many of them you just cannot play with the imitation PS1 controllers it comes with.
Can all of the games save? Because I got a console recently that uses emuelec by default and saves don't work on the emulators. Also what is the actual game content size included? How much of the SD does it take up?
bro, I bought such a set-top box and it first displays the HK screen saver picture, then the screen is blank and the fan turns off and the LED is barely lit, the TV box works without a card, tell me what to do???
Without going full nerdy spec mode here. You will get some better performance with PSP with the King. N64 is little bit better to only still a lot of problems. Both don't support PS2 gaming.
So it seems the best way to play p2- current consoles is still a gaming PC? I can run switch games on mine. I kinda want to buy still one of these boxes for the tv. Or maybe a portable for trips and airplane time.
emulec will only work with certain processors , check their wiki page for the different ones that will run the software . it would be nice to be able to grab an image of the sd card and then just a android box of your own choosing but unfortunately I've not been able to find one
Got my Super Console X3 Plus a few days ago. The interface seems to be a little beyond the borders of my TV. I've tried to change settings on my TV but can't seem to fix it. Like the WiFi indicator is half off my screen. This thing has locked up several times while loading games. Like, completely unresponsive to the controller. I have to pull the plug to reset. Also, about 60,000 of the included games do not work, or cannot work without a keyboard. WHY HASN'T SOMEONE DELETED ALL THE GAMES THAT DON'T EVEN WORK?! WHY HASN'T SOMEONE MAPPED THE CONTROLS IN EACH GAME TO WORK WITH THE INCLUDED CONTROLLERS? WHY ARE THE A AND B BUTTONS SWITCHES ON EITHER THE CONTROLLERS OR INTERFACE?

On the super console x pro the dead or alive 2, didn't work for me . The sonic adventures 2, the arrow keys on the game doesn't works, just the jumping buttons works.

Great Review as always thank you. I bought this Game box it just arrived yesterday. Is it possible you can tell us how to Clone or Back up the 256 GB Micro SD Please . Everybody always say back up the SD card because the manufacturer uses cheap MicroSd card. I tried doing this last 2 years ago and i messed up my MicroSD card just get corrupted by me for i dont know what i am doing i just drag the files. WIn32Disk Imager seems not working. Kinhank MicroSD has 2 partitions or drives. Can anybody please please tell me how to backup the microSD for this Super Console X gamebox. Thank you in advance for your help guys.
I really like this console, but I do hate to play old games on the ps styled controller, so I bought two kiwitata used SNES styled controllers, only problem with this is, even when I remap the controller, the start button takes me to one of the consoles menus I instead of pausing my game . Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

How are the C64 and Amiga Games?
The only difference on this one from other box is the design. The power almost the same.
Old version you would not have got its full performance due to cooling issues.

Get the xbox x/s wireless controller. You will love it. I cant even go back to my 360 controller. The stickers are so uncomfortable now lol.

N64 is little bit better to only still a lot of problems.

emulec will only work with certain processors , check their wiki page for the different ones that will run the software . it would be nice to be able to grab an image of the sd card and then just a android box of your own choosing but unfortunately I've not been able to find one

Got my Super Console X3 Plus a few days ago. The interface seems to be a little beyond the borders of my TV. I've tried to change settings on my TV but can't seem to fix it. Like the WiFi indicator is half off my screen. This thing has locked up several times while loading games. Like, completely unresponsive to the controller. I have to pull the plug to reset. Also, about 60,000 of the included games do not work, or cannot work without a keyboard. WHY HASN'T SOMEONE DELETED ALL THE GAMES THAT DON'T EVEN WORK?! WHY HASN'T SOMEONE MAPPED THE CONTROLS IN EACH GAME TO WORK WITH THE INCLUDED CONTROLLERS? WHY ARE THE A AND B BUTTONS SWITCHES ON EITHER THE CONTROLLERS OR INTERFACE?

LOL. The King X has a 922 in it, so all of these even older chipsets are kind of pointless. The 922 is borderline.
On the super console x pro the dead or alive 2, didn't work for me . The sonic adventures 2, the arrow keys on the game doesn't works, just the jumping buttons works.

I bought this Game box it just arrived yesterday. Is it possible you can tell us how to Clone or Back up the 256 GB Micro SD Please . Everybody always say back up the SD card because the manufacturer uses cheap MicroSd card. I tried doing this last 2 years ago and i messed up my MicroSD card just get corrupted by me for i dont know what i am doing i just drag the files. WIn32Disk Imager seems not working. Kinhank MicroSD has 2 partitions or drives. Can anybody please please tell me how to backup the microSD for this Super Console X gamebox. Thank you in advance for your help guys.

I really like this console, but I do hate to play old games on the ps styled controller, so I bought two kiwitata used SNES styled controllers, only problem with this is, even when I remap the controller, the start button takes me to one of the consoles menus I instead of pausing my game . Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?
