Lived an honorable 48 minutes.
I love that there are monoliths that just require you to escape instead of fighting a boss, way nicer for early game, and makes bailing feel like more of a win

Not sure if it's intended or not, but right clicking with shulkers also takes the items out of your inventory! You don't have to place down the box to put things in, just dragging it over like a bundle has really sped up my looting this season :)
What I do is I put another crystal on the altar to see what ingredients I'll need, in case I can get them inside the vault, like spore blossoms or something.
The level is determined when you press the button.
I literally exclaim "Yayyy!" when I see these videos. Vault Hunters has definitely become my favourite series on the platform, and favorite thing to watch in general. Thank you so much for being you, and for putting out such consistent content. I was a little sad when you disappeared for a while to work on Vault Hunters, but it was well worth it for everyone.

The vain miner is soooooo sathisfying, I love that it even works on crops
im quite sure it is just the hoe that makes that happen, you can see that when he is breaking the crops he doesnt have vein miner selected
Actually, the multiple crops being harvested is from the hoes, normal hoes harvest a 3x3, diamond and netherite harvest a 5x5

Pretty sure the crops was the diamond hoe he made, if its the same as the 1.16 version iron hoes harves in a 3x3 and diamond hoes harvest in a 5x5 area. But yes the vein miner is sarisfying.
I wish that this video had come out before I waited till the last second in my vault to click on the final monolith. The screams of "I HAVE TO FIND THE EXIT" reverberated around my home.

Carrots are the main source of nutrition for vault Hunters. As the saying goes a carrot a day keeps the skeleton archers away.

I had no idea what elite mobs were until now - the first mob I saw in a vault was an elite spider though

Just dowloaded vault hunters for the first time and I’m completely lost (I’ve never played any kind of modded Minecraft before😂) So I appreciate how you take a quick sec to explain the things you’re doing and why you’re doing them. Helps me a lot!
The same is true for me! Honestly though, I set my overworld difficulty to peaceful just so that I can focus on exploring and learning about all the modded terrain, new ores, and new blocks while I grind out a few vanilla farms and basic tools and armor. Still haven't found that chromatic iron, or whatever it's called, yet but it's probably a good thing for me right now because I still hardly know what I'm doing.
The same thing happened to me with the elephant in my single player world, like 2 days in, what you need to tame Rodney is an acacia blossom which has a chance to drop from acacia leaf blocks
Animals that spawn with the wondering trader have the same despawn timer as the wandering trader that's why the elephant disappeared

Me and my friends are about to start a vault hunters server together, and we are really excited about the changes that have been made so far! However, I would really like to see some ranged vault weapons such as a vault bow or vault arrows or something to that effect.
They're working on a vault javelin. Like a throwable/retrievable spear. He said bow/crossbow damage was hard to scale with the player/vault level

A comment on the readability of the 'end vault' screen: The yellow xp thingy on the outer border is difficult to see. I only realize it is there every time by the black shadow. If you take suggestions, a border around the text or a different colour for the text would really help! :)

Gilded chest look nice! Can you put 2 next to eachother to make a big chest? And I liked the idea of keeping boss crates especially when they varied styles depending on the type of vault, think it was the scavenger vault chest I liked best. Nice to show how many of each you have done to, loving the newer version thou
The problem is that the crates became just better shulker boxes. Why search living chests for shulker shells if you could just get one twice as good from just lighting a couple obelisks?

You know what might be a cool idea, what if when you craft crystals you have a chance to create a crystal that has a higher level for a challenge, but better loot. Or maybe a crystal with a lower level of difficulty, but a higher level of loot.

I love that coins can be placed down in world. There's quite a few things in vanilla Minecraft I wish could be placed down in world. Especially books which I know VH has had in this and the 1.16 version.
Also what is it with you getting dragon claws? So far from the vods I've seen you've got about 2 in the SMP and now one in this series. 😆
Also the more I watch of your content makes me want to forgo waiting for a new laptop to play the game and just see how this clunky thing handles a skyvault since that's what the mode was introduced for. 🤔

Started playing vault hunters a 5 days ago? Already working on my mega base. And making some epic farms. The vaults are great! The only thing my friend and I miss is Elvish.
There will be a trinket (additional item you can equip) that you can find called “Elvish air” and does the exact same thing as elvish. You should also check out the stone fall ability if you want to practice MLG without waterbucket and more room for mistakes!

I really love the new vault hunters. Skyblock's sky vaults make it easy for someone like me who rarely plays survival and is bad at minecraft combat to get some practise in and get better at it before tackling the big vaults. Difficulty settings and not having to beat the end makes it more accessible too! Thanks to you and the rest of the VH team!

I really love the new series! Temple hill looks gorgeous already!
There's a few things about the update, though, I wanted to give feedback on.
I feel like with the new Vault generation the Vaults feel more monotonous. In the 1.16 Version it was this beautiful chaos of all the different colours and themes of the rooms, like stepping from one world into another (to exagerate a bit). I really liked that. Now it looks all same-ish. It's really hard to tell the common rooms apart.
Also, at least from a viewers perspective, through the POI mechanic, sometimes the vaults feel almost empty.
Although I've got to say, I find both ideas really intrigueing. Maybe there's a way to strike a balance there.
What I think has worked really really well, is splitting up the chests into categories (and the fact that crates get destroyed when opened). Also, the new menus look amazing!
(To anybody that disagrees, feel free to discuss ☺)

But, even though I do realize Iskall is busy doing two different vault hunter worlds right now, it would be great if he could do a short video explaining how the sky vaults work. I'm playing that right now but I don't know any good strategies to do. Keep up the good work Iskall!
