We used screw on flint replacements for torch strikers. worked pretty well. that's alot easier and better.

It looks like fun. I think you have an Arrma Vendetta. What would happen if you attached one to the rear? It my be dragging all the time and making a constant shower of sparks.

Titanium will generate those sparks. Low rider guys get blocks welded to do this. F1 cars have it as well
What a Fan boy, Lol and paying nearly twice the amount to what, throw sparks (better you then me).
It’s magnesium your thinking of. That’s the metal that’ll throw pure white sparks. back in the Mini Truck/Street Truck days they would have magnesium plates on the truck frame and when you air out the suspension and drag the frame down the street it would lay a big shower of sparks behind the truck as you drive. Unlike now back in the day your truck wasn’t cool unless you could tuck at least a 20+ inch wheel while still laying the frame on the ground and able to drive setting the street on fire with sparks dragging the frame on the ground 😂🤟
Titanium skid plates will make a nice almost pure/hyper white spark with a purple tint to it.
I would assume magnesium would work even better but you have the glaring issues of working with magnesium...like trying to extinguish the impossible to extinguish fires they start, lol!
