Thanks Roy, I have one parked bucket to bucket with my Deere 4600, mines much easier to move snow with but at least now i can move the bobcat to get to mine
Ok you should like run threw all of the basics step by step. For insistence how to turn on(which you did in the beginning) but not how to turn off. I seen you turn the key and push button on right side of seat to turn off, correct ?
taterhead 3e on the older bobcats you move the right steering stick to the right or left to power the hydraulics newer ones have a switch on the top of the steering levers
Roy.. If you would have been running the machine at full throttle, like the manufacture recommends you would not have stalled the machine.. Even at the low RPM you were running the engine if you would have let the levers come back a little it also would not have stalled.. Push for speed pull back for power.. R.B. Barnby
indeed a very versatile machine, was driving down the highway the other day when i had to merge over into one lane because 3 lanes were being taken up by a work convoy, the funniest part was that they had a few doods on bobcats just scraping the bottom of the bucket on the side of the road, thats one way to clean the streets xD
Depending upon how handy you are, skid steers come in a variety of sizes and price ranges making them affordable to just about anyone. About 15 years ago, I purchased an older John Deere for $3k, spent another $300 on repairs (that I did) and my life has been much easier since then.
743s are awesome machines. I have one and it's great.
