- New muffler day, not only greater sound but more airflow.
And I even do some very basic mathematics to prove it.

So glad I found this video, a dealer in the UK told me the baffle was 100% not removable, so now I know with the E5 muffler I can take it out!
This is the same issue I had with HP Corse they refused to tell me if the baffle on theirs could be removed, or was a separate part number. As their website showed both. HP Corse told me to go elsewhere so I did. LOL SC Project were great to deal with.

Hey mate the new pipe sounds awesome, is it the sc rally raid ! I take it you are going to add a part2 vid with the addition of a sc decat pipe, also have you looked at wheather you are going to have to do a re-tune. 🇬🇧
It is better in person unfortunately the microphones still filter it out. Yep part 2 and the video after that finish off on all of that. 👍
Was not considering a muffler, but that sounds unreal.
It does definitely change the bike. And the next 2 videos make an even bigger change for the better.

I am so happy to see you are working on this Ducati just as i have worked on all my dirt bikes for the last half century. After buying my DX ducati dealer created such fear factory im scared to touch the thing...being a mechanic and working in international motorsports for many years i can say i know how to swing spanners..so i have been suffering lots of vibrations through my bike so much so cars become double in my mirrors. Had the bike back to the dealer many times and consistently im told there is norhing wrong with it..i have riden several others and they dont vib like mine, so i want to go to freeing up the exhaust and my firat option was the decat job. And yes the SC was my option. Can you tell me are you not worried about the EPA? Not so much noise bd violation,,why do you feel ok to swap out the pipe and not tune accordingly? Why do you feel you will not void warranty by doing this and doing your own servicing? Which i am totally capable of??? Alll your comments are appreciated and now i am a subscriber to your channel
Next video will show my tune that I have gone with, it dosent void the warranty as its a stand alone unit. But the bike does run so much better without the cat. The bike is louder on coldstart but once its running especially at test levels its not much louder. So definitely not worried about the EPA.
@@koalakoncepts my concerns with EPA is that the cats removed not so much noise aspect..I will be watching your tune update for sure..I am still unsure of the warranty side of things - as I said I am totally capable of working on my own bike - but the fear factor has had an effect on me..not sure where it starts and finishes- I watched you riding and ( I fully agree 4-5,000rpm is sweet riding spot ) looking at your mirrors I see clarity- mine are vibrating all over the place,,A duc dealer had my bike 1wk and said they couldn't fault it,, 7wks did nothing but a 20k ride in the city,,,"sorry m8 can't fault it"..i went back they had it another 2wks pretty much same scenario...I have riden several DX now and none vib like mine,,only difference with the others is 1 with slip on SC muffler. The other full termo system. I have riden I stock bike it did vib but not like mine,,I want to free up the pipe to see if it helps..can you please give me advise on services and work I can do and keep the warranty??
@leonberg6106 Where are you located? Id suggest taking it to another dealer. Do you have the crashbars on it? If they are not tight enough that can cause vibration. If your wheels are out of balance that could be an issue. In Vic Australia here, dont need a roadworthy every 12 months so EPA is not an issue, unless you get pulled over and the police send you to get checked.
Hi I have a few questions as I’m considering to upgrade my exhaust too and I live in Melbourne. Is this with or without cat.? Have you tune the bike after installation? Are you gonna lose Ducati warranty?

Need to watch a few more videos and all will be answered. The dealer had no problems with my modifications because it's done correctly.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, the area of a 22mm hole is about 38mm2
An area of 38mm² would be a hole with an approx radius of 3.48mm. So not really sure what you are referring to. Dont forget the equation used is A=3.14r²
Tx m8..I have hepco and becker crash bars, I have done back to back tests,,barkbusters and other extras,,had them all off,,vibrations change rpm and place..my m8 has a bike the same, same kms, same parts etc,,doesn't vib like mine. I will contend with this,,my question to is re the warranty and work that can be done without void
The only thing ive been told is that, if your modifications prove to have damaged the part you are claiming under warranty then its most likely void. Otherwise its perfectly fine. Thats the law in Australia anyway. Servicing the bike is fine. But I wouldnt go pulling the engine apart.
