(39:24) Peer pressure, change your tactics, and God is mighty to deliver.
    (40:50) The Hebrew word Mosiah.
(48:09) Jesus is the prevention, the cure, and the healing that comes when we seek Him.

Mosiah 27:28-30 are my most favorite scriptures in Mosiah. I AM SNATCHED! God in His mercy has SNATCHED me! Alma the Younger's story is mine also and I am forever grateful to a Savior who saw fit to SNATCH me! I love the Book of Mosiah!

My (Bryce’s) apologies. Certainly not intended. I truly believe what Mike has to say is brilliant and needs to be said. I hope you’ll all just consider it like Jacob‘s anxiety for the welfare of your souls.

Very much enjoy your work. Can we get a correction on the location of the verse with reference to Moshia (sp?)? It cant be Deu. 22:27.

Here is my (Mike’s) translation: “For in the field he found her, and when the betrothed young woman cried out, there was none to (Moshia = save) her.” The reference of Deut. 22.27 is correct. See the MT above.

Thanks much Mike, it took a bit to realize the word (as you even said in the podcast) wouldn't be found with a quick search in the KJB

This is a pretty cool thing to consider: Moshia is in the Hebrew Masoretic Text, but Joseph Smith at 23, did not know this language. And so "Moshia", the Hiphil Participle of yāšaʿ (יָשַׁע) "save" is happening in this text - the very text that demonstrates this manner of saving, as stated in the podcast. The word play is abundant in the Book of Mormon text.
