- Mantis Shrimps are amazing - their punches move 45 miles per hour, strike with 200 pounds of force and create a cavitation bubble on impact that when collapses emits a burst of heat hotter than the surface of the sun - and that's not even the coolest part.

Examining the nature of the beast.
I am sure the mantis did 100 squats 100 pushups 100 pullups and 10 kilometre swims everyday for 3 years
one puuuuuuuuunch
Ali Qadry it's a hero for fun....
viru100 Singh ONE PINCH
Ali Qadry no 10 years
Even when the exoskeletal joints of its raptorial appendages started making weird clicking and popping noises, it didn't give up. It felt like it was going to die. But it didn't take a single day off. It had to keep a steady diet of clams and crabs for nutrition. A soft fish in the morning was enough. When the water heated or cooled, it didn't bother insulating its burrow. This helped strengthen its mind as well as its body. Eventually, it trained so hard it turned rainbow. But since then, nothing could beat it. It had finally achieved its goal of becoming the Sea's Strongest Crustacean.
...But why does it now feel so empty?
"Even the octopus, which is quite the badass, can't handle these psycho bastards."
Cone that is how the mantis shrimp do
@@renoloverxoxo Have you been watching Ze Frank's TRUE FACTS. lol
I love how mantis shrimp can see colors we can't; but they chose THOSE to wear
Clicker Happy what if they chose colours to wear that we can,t see.... invisible shrimp 🦐
Well they might be wearing colors we can’t see but you know we just can’t see them...
It might just be wearing colours that make sense for it to camouflage with, but since we can’t see them it just looks like a very confused clown.
They can't see the colors we can see tho.
@@muyin they can see most colors we can see, and much more. In total they have way more
its the one punch man of the sea
More like One Punch Man(tis)

If the mantis shrimp was a necromorph I would hate to be Isaac Clarke.
You profile picture is amazing.
Oh dearGod.......

Imagine a color that can't even imagine, now do the a that 9 times, THAT'S HOW A MANTIS SHRIMP DOOO!!

Zefrank 😁😁😂
But what about the bebes
"And just like the modern clown the mantis shrimp has a psychopathic killing instinct"
-Zefrank1, true facts about the mantis shrimp
you want to be in the putane club
I didn't know there were spearing mantis shrimp; that's freaking cool!
The smashers club actually have a sharp dactyl that's folded like a jackknife in their clubs (no spines/ teeth). They use it to impale small fish or soft bodied prey
next time we do shrimps, can we do pistol shrimp?
fauxman Can we get special guests for that episode? Aubrey Plaza? Matt Gourley?
fauxman I think pistol shrimp is the nickname for these. This is one of the coolest videos I have ever seen. Did you see it's eyes? They looked blurry or out-of-focus but at the same time also looked clear and sharp.... bizarre
Steven Kramer Pistol shrimp are very different but cool in their own right. Many of them form symbiotic relationships with fish. I have one in my aquarium.
Well it's 2 years later and she finally did it
Pewpew
FLOYD MAYWEATHER: is there someone that can send me to sleep
MANTIS SHRIMP : let me try
😂😂😂

CraftyKittyGaming That or a thrasher shark would be cool.
I KNEW LANDSHARKS EXISTED I SHOUTED 'LANDSHARK' EVERY DAY I WENT TO THE BEACH FOR 2 GODDAMM YEARS
“Slowed down 60 times” Well this is alarming…😭

It’s crazy when you can hear the punches from a few hundred feet away.
Everyone else: It's the Saitama of the sea
Me, an intellectual: Star Platinum?

Me, even higher intelectual: TERRAFORMARS
MANTIS SHRIMP: ZA WARUDO
@@masterzoroark6664 oh a fellow Mutated buff cockroaches fan I see.
Crab: Oho, you're approaching me? Crab? Even though your grandfather told you the secret of *The Crab* like a student scrambling to finish the test before the bell rings.
Mantis Shrimp: I can't beat your claws off without getting closer.
omg i figured it out! this girl reminds me of the girl in the movie scot pilgrim, Ramona flowers!!!😍😍😍
this channel deserves so much more. keep on keeping on
Imagine working at construction and using a mantis shrimp to hit all the bolts and nails
An episode on Sloth Bears would be cool. I saw one in a zoo once, but had never heard of them before. It was a hot summer day, yet it was probably the most active of all the animals there that day! A harpy eagle would be interesting too. In grade school I researched them for a report and everything about them fascinated me!
They are highly aggressive bear species.
My favorite so far ! You're so amazing !!!!
That Shrimp has mastered the philosphy of Amakakeru Ryu No Hirameki and thus applied it on his punch.
1:53 this is the funniest shit I've ever seen. I can already hear that crab's scream. 😆😂
Cassowary? It's literally the bird of kungfu
That was awesome! Could you do the lyrebird at some point?
I always loved this animal!! There's an anime character based on this animal,it really makes the character look cool, because this animal suits his needs!
imagine this mantis shrimp getting flexed by his opponent then he lashes out consecutive normal punches.
Can you do a video about Pangolins? They're the armadillo's cooler cousin!
*Penguin... and she did them. Why can nobody spell penguin? Is this a foreign spelling?
Unknown Caller Pangolins are not penguins. Look them up.
Unknown Caller Really?
Yes
Pangolins are not the armadillos' cousin. Just because they look alike does not mean they're related. The pangolin order (pholidota) is most closely related to the carnivorans, the canines and felines and such. The armadillos' order, cingulata, is most closely related to sloths and anteaters.
Please do a video on woodpeckers!
Thanks for this one Danielle! So epic!
Whoa hey Dan, thanks so much!
Mantis shrimp and Pistol shrimp together in a game would be amazing.
Why can't I see your newer videos anymore?
the Japanese spider crab or (Alaskan) king crab.
I love these guys, they're freaking awesome!
You know you've watched to many mantis shrimp videos when you recognize lines and clips from the previous videos you watched.
Pangolin the coolest of the t-rex look a likes
Do you even English bro

im a comment J Noooo! I was gonna suggest a pangolin!

*Penguin... and she already did them.
So does this mean a giant Mantis Shrimp should be a boss in a video game?
HELL YEAH !!! That would be epic !!! (BTW in the anime/manga terra formars one of the characters has the mantis shrimp power and eyesight I defenitely recommand the anime just to see him fight)
madmoblin The ultimate boss, except everyone fails.
People get real don't compare its just bullcrap just don't

Danielle Dufault, you're soo awesome!
The fact that Danielle reference dead space makes me want to wife her up on the spot
Wow- she looks great in this video!
The Mantis Shrimp probably have such powerful punching force due to it learning 4000 years of Chinese Martial Arts.
She is pretty on bright colors, like how the mantis shrimp do.
I'm convinced that Crabrawler is mix between this and the coconut crab.
Anybody noticed the painting on the background?? Thats just pure art.
