Thefts at S.F. wine bar leave owner feeling helpless

  • A San Francisco wine bar was victim to two alleged thefts in two days and its owner feels abandoned by the city, the latest example of a small business grappling with retail crime and safety.
    “It very much feels like these criminals know they’re going to get away with it,” said Cara Patricia, co-owner of Decant SF in South of Market. “The way it feels to own a business and own a bar or a retail shop in this town is we’re very much on our own.”
