Punk vs Kingston at Full Gear is going to be must see. I can’t wait. For those who will complain it’s a two week build. I agree, I wish it was longer by AT LEAST a month. But there is now 2 Dynamites and 2 Rampages before Full Gear and those two Rampages will be live so if AEW really work on it they could fit enough in. If there is anyone to make a two week build must see for a PPV it will be Punk and Kingston. Give these two a face to face segment like Moxley and Kingston last year and the PPV will be sold on that match alone. I can’t wait to see this

CM Punk's AEW segments are a breathe of fresh air
It feels like Punk is in control of most of his segments because they're unlike most of AEW's segments.
There's so many subtle details that goes into Punk's segments to the point where I hope Punk actually takes some form of creative control when he officially retires (again)
(in summary: not saying any of his segments are original, just that I think there's a form of subtlety to them that I really appreciate and want to see carried out in most wrestling shows)
everyone is free to pitch ideas since there are no writers in AEW, Tony Khan has the final say though.

I did too after not watching wrestling since 1999. If Punk leaves tmr I doubt I'd continue to watch it regularly but it's pretty good. I don't see the appeal of the Dark Order or the Elite though. I wish they didn't use Dark Order constantly because they're all a bunch of jobbers to me but I don't know the history I guess. The Elite just seems like they want to turn fans away but maybe they've been like this the whole time? It's kind of annoying because they have people working hard to make the show better then they have stupid segments that ruin it.

He's basically said as much when asked about criticism of it in recent interviews. And whatever it is, I highly doubt this is the point where it stops and he enters into a serious longterm feud.
