This new "IMPACT SKATEBOARD" claims to be 2x more durable and abrasion resistant while having double the pop and slide! We test all these claims and more to see if they're true and if we can destroy this skateboard!

We're already working on enhancements to ensure our deck can withstand impacts from all angles 💪. When it comes to abrasion resistance and preventing razor tails, our boards outlast standard skateboards under regular use. The unique conditions of the test, particularly the intense abrasion seen in the video, caused the polyurethane to heat up and partially melt, resulting in faster wear on the tail :D We will show the results of our tests soon 🖖

All the boards I've had with different material layers had issues eith delamination. I've cut my hands/fingers open on sharpened delaminated fiberglass layers multiple times...

Libtech made fiberglass/maple composite boards like 20 years ago. I had the one with the coockoo bird clock. It was sick. These decks look pretty nice tho

@@BlacksoulofDeathThis board is out. I visited their website. The board costs $87.09. I was going to grab one but they don’t have any other graphics or colors. I personally don’t like the bottom of my boards to be black like my grip.

I love impact boards, had a almost impact back in the day. That board was a beast lol it never broke.

Kryptonics had a deck long ago that had green urethane all around the edges for impact resistance. Pretty sure it was also mostly fiberglass.
Hmmmm interesting
thinking about it made me do a quick search - they had a foam core, fiberglass skins, and the urethane was thicker at the nose and tail - like bumpers. They had a few versions, and were mostly white with multicolor stripes running lengthwise. If you Google Kryptonic skateboard deck vintage, you can find out more.

I think the tail cracked off the Braille drop after the initial bounce off the nose, because the first bounce whipped it back onto the tail? I'm just thinking.

when i started skating back in montana the roads where trash and would shred boards faster than a chainsaw. im something of an expert on razortail lol.
It will cool to every member of Braille to use a different brand skateboard for a month, for they normal day of skating and after 30days to see which skateboard is gone.
