Ok I tried iracing on an Asus zenbook spec inteli7 10th 1080 Intel video 128mb 8gb windows 10 and it was so poor on the Spec Test on their site the frame rate dropped almost every other second even with low details , no crowd , stands , trees it was unplayable. Got a ASUS ROG Ryzen 7 Nvidia GTx coming and it’s exceeding recommended specs just falling short of optimal so I’m super excited as I was still getting podium with all that lag.

You should try running something that has more than 1 player on it, like iRacing in Multiplayer mode, I heard multiple cars can take a toll on performance
I race in live for speed on an awful laptop in leagues . Fields of 15 or so. My computer cant play raceroom. But runs lfs at 60+fps in the league races. And I have it locked at 100fps it will go beyond that if I unlock it.
Logitech inspiron 15 gaming with i7 gtx 1050it and 16 gigs ram I got mine for 1000 nzd and it runs most of not all games at high but graphically intence games it runs fine on medium 👍
Recently I've been forced by work reasons to uograde my old laptop. I bought an i5 10th gen 8gb ram 256gb ssd with the mx250 (2gb). I've been playing assetto corsa casually offline using medium resolution on everything and fps locked at 60. I never play with more than 10 cars on the grid. I have a Logitech g27 and only care about cars with a stick. I'm having the time of my life. Sidenote: put cpu performance at 99% to avoid clock boost which makes the slim laptop overheat.
when i ran raceroom in my i5 M480 @ 2.67GHz 4gb ram 64mb VRAM potato i was getting like 5 fps and hell lotta input lag now i am downloading assetto corsa and lets see if i get atleast 30fps in it

Low spec laptop is one thing, i was interested in a more powerful gaming laptop. Rtx 3070 mobile should be enough for most racing sims since they are really demanding as your usual aaa game.

hold up my laptop can run beamng on west coast with like 26 fps with normal settings is that good enough for assetto corsa on ok graphics?

Racing games are weirdly easy to run (not talking about beamng)

Live for speed will probably run great. If you dont care about multiplayer there are other options aswell.
