This used to happen all the time in the early stages of the Internet. Damien, previously Jessi Slaughter, is an infamous example. Back when 4chan was an even more toxic cesspool than it is currently, they harassed them and their entire family. They just went frothing mad and attacked anyone even remotely attached to Damien, who was 11 years old at the time.

The first trans streamer who he was harassing, Bea, is someone I used to watch a couple years ago. She’s honestly so sweet, and I feel bad that she had to deal with this ass. She’s talked very openly about her experience with being transgender and I remember it being my first time learning about any of that, and I’m very grateful that I was able to learn about it from someone like her who was always happy to explain and educate others.

I think a lot of people can relate to this type of harassment. Some people sit on such a high privileged horse that they can’t dare to believe someone else wants to be treated with the same respect as them. These jokes where they treat people differently show how they see no problem in considering minorities a subcategory so below themselves. The unfortunate part of all this is people like this (teenagers mostly) is so common, especially where I live.
There's an all boys school I sometimes walk past and it's insane the amount of shit and slurs that comes out of their mouths, I can't tell if it's scarier that people as young as 10 are like this or that people above the age of 18 is like this
Of course some teenage girls are also like this but it's overwhelmingly teenage boys with this type of transphobia, homophobia and racism which I'm sure makes boys in this environment to come out as gay or even discover their identity even harder

I went to an all girls school, and we had a brother school where a lot of the brothers and boyfriends of the girls at my school went to. The difference between both was crazy, sure both were preppy but the all boys school was just known for immature horrible privileged assholes. There wasn’t any misandry at my school, but ofc the misogyny was insane at the all boys school. This is why if I have children, I would consider sending my daughter to an all girls school but I would never send my son to an all boys one.
There are already studies in my country on how social media and content like this enables so much more hate and violence against minorities and as a millenial i really had the hope this was going to become better the generations after us. This type of content gives people the scapegoats to funnel their hate onto. Just last weekend a trans woman was attacked in my hometown which is a major big city. It seems like these things happen more and more frequently and as part of the LGBTQ+ myself who is more "sraight passing" i fear for those who dont have that priveledge

Not only looking at the website, but trying to look for retired or transfered teacher, and students who have graduated accounts of their experience. I mean, if they're still working at the school of course they'll only give good opinion. I started at public school when I was much younger, but eventually ended up going to an all girls charter school on a scholarship in secondary. Halfway through moved to an applicant school with all genders. Public school was... well it was better than the charter school but still filled with derogatory remarks despite being just in primary. The charter school I went to was dreadful and just filled with horrible and mean girls, and since it was a charter school abuse wasn't exactly an easy to fix problem. However, when I switched to my applicant school it was a bit better. Not problem free and still filled with mean people and snide remarks, but it was easily to glide through even without any friends. Sending your kids to a good school when they first start is one of the best things you can do for them. For education, safety, healthy adult and similar age relationships, and the building of morals and values. It'll hopefully keep them stable and kind at the end of the day. Anyways sorry for the rambling

I do have to say, that this video is seriously validating. I'm trans, and a lot of cis people ask me for personal details on my transition, and my genitals, and whether or not I can make babies. Which is totally wrong, and then wonder why I get bothered by this. So the reaction from the trans woman was totally understood and valid. And I really appreciated someone acknowledging that, so thanks.
The idea of wanting to know if a person can get pregnant is so nauseating. But also like why would you even need to know that? The only instance I can think of is if you are in a committed relationship and seeing how you could start a family.

Badgering a random trans person online to talk about their transition and then asking if they're an inbetweener is only a joke to the person making it whereas the person receiving the joke is hurt which is harassment. If people are getting hurt by your jokes, then maybe get better jokes.

I wish youtube would take bigger actions against this. There are some great video essays here on the platform (example: How To Radicalize A Normie or The Pewdiepie Pipeline) who show that this type of "edgy and dark" humor is funneling people down the alt right path. It starts with videos like these and as you mentioned Nick his fans are mostly children it seems which are even more deceptive to such content.
The way Platforms like CZcams allow the normalisation of racism homophobia etc really worries me and as a platform who did so much to " protect" children from harmful content I really expect more

When I was way younger there was a youtuber who was small (at the time) but huge in his community. And because we were on the same social media platform, even knowing I was a huge fan, he made fun of me and "featured" me in one of his videos. It was super upsetting to me then and it still fucks me up now, especially since he's a huge creator at this point. I hope the kid is alright and I'm not just hyperempathetic.
