    Oh btw. The saddle bags nice too man. After you paint those wheels it’ll be real nice looking. Where did you get the chrome covers? Under the seat

      @usMarinecuv902  Před 3 lety +1

      The chrome covers are stock. After 96 I believe.

    A sissy bar would make this bike go even more hard! But killer bike man 🤘🤘

    Last step is so switch out the foot rests. I have the vt1100c2 sabre and i hated those stock food rests

      I actually happen to like them a lot. They are comfortable and stable.

    Crazy question, with the exhaust, do you hear like “water” sound when driving? I just cut my exhaust behind the baffles so it’s technically straight pipe and I find it sounds kinda funny at just the right rpms

    • @cheapman45
      @cheapman45 Před 3 lety

      Also to clarify, we have the same bike. Mines an 2002 spirit Vt1100c

      @usMarinecuv902  Před 3 lety

      @@cheapman45 im not sure about a water sound, but these engines only sound good when you're giving her the beans. They just sound OK at low rpm

    What rear shocks are you using? I have an 03 shadow ace been looking for some rear shocks to power the rear end

    • @usMarinecuv902
      @usMarinecuv902  Před 3 lety

      It's from ebay. Search for Honda shadow 1100 lowered shocks and it should pop up. Mine are the 10.5" and were about $180. I believe stock is 11.75" the brand I believe is corsa, but that's not very relevant.

    Do u recommend this type of bike for someone that is new to the bike seen??? Anyone have any advice thanks in advance

    • @usMarinecuv902
      @usMarinecuv902  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes, it was my first bike. Just keep in mind an 1100 is a big bike to start on, but it's not like a crotch rocket and it doesn't make a lot of power. Just be careful and respect the throttle.

  • @mitchplaysdrums5608
    @mitchplaysdrums5608 Před 3 lety

    Is it a 1100c2? Also are your turn signals led?

    • @usMarinecuv902
      @usMarinecuv902  Před 3 lety +1

      It's a vt1100c and no, they're not led. I tried leds before and couldn't get them to work properly

      1100c3 motor, for leds you need resistors. I have a vt1100c3 spirit aero.

      @usMarinecuv902  Před 3 lety +1

      @@BobOreily1124 I had some resisters, but obviously i didn't do something right, so i gave up and bought incandescent lights.

      @@usMarinecuv902 that's fair. Shits annoying, especially on our y2k bikes.
