  • This is the twentieth main series original composition on this channel. It was originally planned for May, but it ended up being ready slightly ahead of schedule, so here we are now.
This time, there were two main ideas behind it: a nod to my older [2019-2020] OCs, and an arrangement that takes some inspiration from gospel choirs. Therefore, the Electronica soundfont has been chosen, which makes this my first Electronica OC since 2019, and the choir instrument has been used extensively, notably for chords. However, newer song elements were also used, such as more complex chords, modal mixture and mid-song key changes.
This project was of course made with Super Mario Paint v1.4.2 and a volume-adjusted Electronica soundfont. The key is D (mode varies per section of the song), or A Phrygian in one specific instance, and the BPM is 160 throughout. I hope you enjoy.

It's been a while since an original piece, very nice!
    P.s
Im not saying you should make a new remix...
but if you were, try "ulterior motives." It was a lostwave song that was found by the time of me commenting only a few hours ago. Just a suggestion is all.
Can't wait for a whang video about it or smth!

Thanks! I just couldn't help but try out some chromatic mediants right at the start... which more or less set the tone for everything else afterward.
