1903 - Bradford City's First Ever Home Game

City's first football league game was a 2-0 defeat at Grimsby Town on 1 September 1903, six days before their first home Vs. Gainsborough Trinity, a game that attracted 11,000 fans, and that is the game we see here.

I love seeing clips like these. Seeing the way the city looked in the background, what the people wore, and learning about Bradford City is facilitating. I am also a sucker for anything like a documentary and just rewatched an amazing one for the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears dome by NFL films. Really cool seeing how much any sport can change over time when you watch the really early stuff.
