Nokie Edwards was born into a musical family where everyone played several instruments.
It was the guitar that attracted a young Nokie's musical interests and guitarists around the world are glad that it did.
Nokie began his career with Buck Owens where he was spotted by members of The Ventures and ultimately asked to join them.
Nokie was key in developing the Japanese market Where The Ventures sold 30 million records.
