Those are really quick, and nicely made.
I've always been put off these slideing type gates by one client who's gates always took an eternity to open leaving you stuck in the road on a blind bend.
He asked me if i wanted it to open quicker, There must be different settings.
Nice job mate. Loved watching your progress on the house over last 12 months or so. You should do a big before and after compilation type vid.
RJ 57AND Thanks
Very enlightening, enjoyed it throughly Sir, amazing to see only two people can install an Electric Gate in such a short time Sir.👌👍👍👏👏
Sam is a good lad, known him for years. 👌
He has done a first-class job for me as well. Thanks.
Nice robus, great motors. Although I have been noticing a lot of issues with their moonclever control boards of late.
Hello I'm Alan hart!!! I'm going to put it down to the excitement of having those fantastic electric gates installed 🤣🤣.
Well done matey they are a great choice 👍🏻
😂😂😂👍
@@AllenHart999 I'm wondering how far Sam's catchment is as I'm in Durham and looking for some reliable electric gates
@@Tom_Prendiville Not really sure, Give him a call 07801 933516
@@AllenHart999 cool thanks for replying
@@Tom_Prendiville He might know someone near you if he doesn’t cover your area. Thanks for watching.
That’s a brilliant set up Alan, secure as well - really looks good.
Yes, I am really happy with them. Thanks.
Good video Alan. Motor Pad installed after obviously.
Cracking job. Interesting one this Allen. Sam only looks a young lad too. Enjoyed the vid mate.
He is a really nice guy. Thanks for watching.
Cool video even though it’s not plumbing and heating it’s still a mechanical device in pretty interesting to watch something like that be installed and operate you know it’s something different from time to time it’s not so bad
I like to spice things up a bit 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👍😂👍😂
A very nice tidy job. Just occurred to me that it would also be nice if there were a few adjustment bolts to compensate for anything warped or the ground was to settle in future etc, as I've had that happen with gates around the farm - but maybe that's just me being paranoid!
Hi Alan. Nice video, I want to do my electric gates, good ideea. Need just moto, and also someone wants a new gate. You never know if someone will need it! Thank you.
👍😂
Great job done again Allen 👍👍👍👍
Thank you. 👍
Fantastic job I have done a few that is top class

Very nice video of another tradesman doing a top class job👍🏻 Are you going to get some Worcester logos to stick on the gates?😉😂
Paul Kelly 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I like it when you do different topic videos. How about some videos on construction site.
Thank you.
You'are very intelligent sir💘💖💝👍👌
Oh my Alan there is some right tossers know it Alls on this site, Spend every evening searching out CZcams Videos like these and whingeing like hell
Needs safety edges on them frames where counter balance passes highly illegal gate, and gate doesn't even open fully for the width of drive. Good effort though
No interest in safety until someone gets injured. Allan Hart should stop giving out this company as a gate installation company. This gate isn't safe.
Awesome gates Allen, I reckon if I was a bit thinner l could limbo underneath them when closed.
😂😂😂😂
Only joking. Great job Allen
@@steve45678 Thank you
Same
I had sliding gates on order however, according to the fitter we can't now due to H&S so we have no option but to go with swing gates 🤔
Has the gate got any safety rubber pressure edges fitted on the front leading edge or the back of the gate when it's in moving operation? Or is it just relying on the lower photo beams to sense pedestrian /vehicle detection?
Not sure as i haven’t checked. Will let you know.
Gate does not comply, no safety edges, no ce mark, no force test done. Portal should be meshed off to stop drag in. Poor job.
Thanks.
Looks really nice mate, elegant security 😉
They are brilliant what motor have you used has it got wheels on the bottom of the gate as you cannot see them in the video
Looks very nice Allen 😁 very fast opening, operated by remote key fob or is it app controlled off your phone?
These are on a fob. Thanks.
Did you have to get the council to put the dropped kerb in? Been thinking about putting a driveway on my house. Excellent videos thanks.
Yes that was done a while back. Thanks.
Any problems with snow and/or ice?????
Not if you move the snow.
Nice gates pal
First comment. Thanks.
Fastest gate I've seen actually. What was the cost?
They go faster than this as well. If you click onto his Facebook page he will be able to tell you more about pricing. Thanks.
Great job how much was this install I have had some joke of quotes for gates for what quotes I have had for the size I need these must have cost a fortune over 25k?
Great video just planning something similar myself. Looks fab
I am very happy with them. Thanks.
I fitted a gate in which my cantilever track has spread/widened and can not get to the bottom of it. Track is rated for 600kg but gate is only 300. Have you came across this problem before alan?
How much width do you need to fit something like this ?
Under the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC all new machinery
has to be designed and constructed to meet the common minimum European
requirements for safety. Can you see any?
Thanks.
I see the one set of photocells that come with the kit, otherwise DENADA!!!!
I had this discussion when this video was first put up. These gates are a danger to the home owner and general public. No safety protection at the rear of the gate and none at the front edge. Whoever fitted them should stop fitting gates before they injure or kill someone and the owner should turn them off until they are made safe. Any decent gate company that came to service this gate would put a critical safety sticker on it and turn it off. Will people never learn. Every time someone has asked Alan Hart about safety he just says that he'll look into it. If I were him I'd look into it as a matter of urgency and in the meantime turn the gate off.
Hi Allen can you recommend installer for my gate motor replacement. London - existing motor needs replacing new motor is already delivered. Cheers
Unfortunately not sorry.

Great video, do you need planning permission. I have a slight slope too . Any help most welcome. Regards mark
Did you ever get the correct safety devices fitted to this gate or is it still running in an unsafe condition. It's an injury/death trap.
I knew you would be an expert Stan, there always is one in the comments section. Don't be shy, put some videos of your installations on-line, see how many experts rock up and criticise you!!
@@MrSolarstu You don't know that. We have no need to put up images or videos of our work as we are busy enough. If we did put up such images you would see, if you know what you are looking at, that they fully comply to safety regulations and not left in a state whereby people could get seriously injured. Out of interest what is your expertise regarding gate safety or do you just like to troll through youtube talking rubbish on subjects that you know nothing about.
@@stanmeadows2524 Oh, I think I do know that Stan, and its been a while, I expect you have been busy installing to the highest safety specs eh, pity you have no video proof though, I would love to congratulate you on your top notch installation, and I am absolutely sure a lot of other people would like that opportunity too. As for my expertise, well can anybody really call themselves an expert, not me, I'm just a student of the University of life. Come on Stan, your the man, put some videos up!
@@MrSolarstu Like so many others your student loan has been wasted. How's the view from your bedroom. See all those people walking by, that's called society, one day when your mum lets you out you may be able to join in. In the mean time always remember to put clean underpants on each day and don't spill your milk. I'll keep our expert installs for people who know what they're looking at. You get yourself off to bed now and don't try to climb over the baby gate, you'll hurt yourself.
@@stanmeadows2524 Oh Stan, what a disappointment you turned out to be, I thought you would have the where with all to take the video challenge, oh well, not to worry, we will all just take your word that you do expert installs, watch out the gate doesn't hit you on your way out!!
Hi Allen, I am currently thinking of upgrading from a standard boiler system to a Combi boiler in my first house purchase and I am unsure of what boiler manufacturer to go for. In your experience of the latest boilers, which manufacturer do you think simplist and ‘bang for buck’ is best to go for?
Baxi Platinum is a great choice 👍
You could've made your own arty one out of old copper pipes.

Nice👍🏻
Thanks.
Could you have it a bit lower to the ground? So small dog can’t escape

hi
for this gate which armoured cable you use 1.5mm or 2.5mm
Can you help me, i want this style gate but the cost is astronomical! How can i get this installed and cut the cost?
Give him a call. Thanks
@@AllenHart999 call who?
Did this pass the force test without safety edges ?
Didn't see a registered electrician doing the electrics as you've run a new supply as you know been gas safe plumber you will realise that this needs to be certified and registered
I didn’t even show any electric connections 😂
I know but it does run on electric and I didn't see an electrician doing any work did you get a registered electrician to do all the electrical work
Ian, What an ass you are...
Sir allen hart of leeds 😂 how much did it cost al ?? Also where is the supply to the motor coming from did tou pull an swa in
😂😂😂Everyone's price is different, Give Sam a call for pricing. Thanks.
Nice job. What are the panels made from?
Composite, I didn’t want wood. Thanks.
hello Allen what's the company called who fitted these for you mate ?
Sam 07801 933516
Does the gate have force limitation safety's
No idea what that means sorry.
What electrics are involved
Yorksnire plumber. Says it all
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What's the range you can open them from Allen?
End of street
No safe edges in the catch points no warning signs.
Is it CE certified .
What happened to your DIY loft conversation??
All done, Haven’t had chance to do a video yet
@@AllenHart999 that's good, would be good to see how it all turned out! Was what made me subscribe to the page ever since
So how much for all installation with parts cost ...
Cost involved mate
Nice gate but dont comply
No edges drawing in trap
Nice motors ok but for that size of gate and weight I would not have used nice
What motor would you use? Thanks
@@AllenHart999 would probably of used faac bft or dea
Looking at gate weight probably 800kg
But if you know material sizes you can work it out then pick what model
You should really have safety edges front and rear and at the apatures
Check hse power perimeter gates
And DHF website
It looks like a nicely made gate but the safety needs some looking at really should be compliant as it's a new installation
@@jimbobmcgrigger8495 Couldn't agree more. This gate is an accident waiting to happen especially with children around. One safety beam? The whole gate is an entrapment hazard. How do companies get away with this sort of install.
Are these held up purely from the rollers sitting in the base of the static frame?
From the rollers. Thanks
Where i can buy this
How to mount it
Hi Alan, I have followed your videos for a long time from Dublin. My son in law is from from crossgates and I would like to subscribe to your channel l. How do I go about doing this? Thanks john

Ronnie Corbett could have walked under them without bending down
Do you offer installation
I don’t but the company in the video do. Thanks.
Hi pal I'm looking for a couple of gate openers as mine isn't the slider type so its two gates I'm fitting 6ft high by 6ft wide there going to be wooden gates so l need something that can handle gates like that I'm in ayr in Scotland so do you have a phone number that l can call someone to have a chat for what l need or a link to a website thanks.

Hi, looks great, I'm looking for something like this, what did it all cost?
If you click on his Facebook page i am sure he will help with pricing. Thanks.
Cost involved and breakdown please
too much clearance underneath
Where is the safety on this gates. Any gate company that came to service this would condemn the gate until it was made fully safe.
What safety should i be looking for? Thanks.
Those two IR sensors are mounted for safety reasons. Also, I don't see it in the video, but Nice kits come with a yellow flash light that is mounted in top of one of the pillars near the gate, so is visible from in and out the yard, and flashes as soon as the gate begins to operate. No need for other safety measures. My concern is that the cable from the IR sensor is mounted just beneath the pavement, and I believe a heavier car may damage the cable... I would have dig a little further down to place that cable, or pour some concrete over it, instead of sand.
@@AllenHart999 There doesn't appear to be a safety edge on the leading edge of the gate so you have an entrapment issue between the leading edge and the slam post. Where the gate goes past the wooden fence you have a drawing in hazard. The whole rear of the gate is a drawing in and entrapment hazard. Please go to the DHF web site and have a read on gate legislation.
@@Radu.Ilie.84 One safety sensor and a flashing light wont stop someone getting injured. The sensor is on the outside of the gate where's the safety to the inside and to the rear. The the cable not being buried enough is the least of the problems. Try telling the parent of the child who gets trapped that the child should have taken more notice of a flashing light. Really!
@@stanmeadows2524 There are two safety sensors. Anything comes between them, and the gate stops and reverses a couple of inches. There is an option to add another pair on the inside of the gate, but that's about it. Also, the motor itself measures the force it needs to push the gate, and if the gate encounters an obstacle, that reads in a greater power to move it, and the motor stops. Do you know any other measures? If you do, please tell us.
PS: cars have only brakes and horns, but this things don't always do the job to protect pedestrians, and that is why you tell your kid to stay away from moving cars, and take notice of them, right?
Top much noise and skipped over the. Digging and the beginning frame and his accent is very hard to understand we dont need the weather report
Funny these youtubers are, 1 minute they act like they don't make that much money from these videos and that they are just getting by like everyone else then they go and buy some massive electric gates 😂 how the other half live
czcams.com/video/YoxiAtKEuyc/video.html
@@AllenHart999 already watched it mate that was my point, basically your saying that £16,000 for the whole time you have been on CZcams isn't that much? It is when when you make thousands every month on your day job its just a nice bit of extra money. Just my opinion, I see alot of youtubers moaning about how much money they DON'T make from CZcams but it's not your full time job it's your hobby you don't have to do it nobody is forcing you, and half of them moan about it then show of a flashy new van or something they have brought.
