What a man. Not a Spurs fan (Celtic man here) but he is exactly what Tottenham is all about, just as he was exactly what we needed at Parkhead. I'm glad to see him doing well because Spurs have had a hard time over the last coupel of years, but ffs man, I miss him more than anything.
Celtic have always been my Scottish club too, so I do feel your pain, but as a life-long Spurs fan, I'm sure I'll be saying the same thing when he eventually moves on from Tottenham (not something I like to think about). 🙋♂
Poch has been manager for six months and we are in fourth place and out of two cups. It’s early doors. I think we have to finish third or higher for this to be a good season for him
Our defense did well again, as both goals were given away behind the high line. I think we should have Bentacur, Hojbjerg, Werner, Dragusin, Johnson, Royal, Davies and Skipp as our 2nd squad, subbing in for Son, Maddison, Kulusevski, Romero/De Ven, Sarr, Bissouma, Udogie, and Porro. That's a pretty healthy squad going until the end of the season, and let's see what happens in the summer as to transfers. Everyone should be fit when our guys return from international duties. Vicario, Ven, Romero, Porro, Udogie, Bissouma, Sarr, Maddison, Kulusevski, Son, and Richarlison as our starting squad with Son and Richarlison interchanging positions during game play. I believe we can beat anyone with this squad.
Tottenham's main problem is and always has been turning on that game switch. Every manager since Pochettino, the team just seems to play way better in the second half then in the first half. Pochettino's Spurs would go up 1-0 in the first 10 minutes. I'm not saying that's due to Poch, just mentality. If we played how we did at the start of the second half, at the start of the first half, it would be such a mental blow to our opponents if we can go 3-0 up in a matter of 7 minutes. I'm sure we'll get there, but it's just something I've noticed watching them.
Hopefully the players will listen to him and shoot more. A few long shots early against a low block will force the defensive lines to break and shut the ball down, creating space to pass and move through. Only thing wrong with the first half was a lack of shots.. 60+% possession, 1st half was hardly a fail
Voice sync way out on this video!! Very much like Spurs were way out of sync in the dreadful 1st half display! Much improved 2nd half but sort out the discipline issues that have surfaced these last few games.
@bestBackingTracks I couldn't agree more, I remember watching Celtic (my lifelong obsession!) when he first came and being in a bit of a panic as to why the full backs were in the box trying to score goals (who is covering?). Now I know better, I have developed a weird fixation with the man which has never happened before when a manager leaves the club I love, amazing style of football and such a charming guy. Spurs are now my second team, you need a big squad when playing Angeball as its knackering but the hope is money is spent wisely in the summer and then its on!. Oh, good watch is his interview when Celtic manager on youtube called "On the front bar" really funny!

Rodgers is quality tho(hearts fan)
Quite frankly glad he’s no longer Celtic manager as a Spurs fan and Rangers are the second team

It’s not who I am underneath, but it’s what I do that defines me.

The sound is badly out of sync, fix it!

A pre-season Celts v Spurs somewhere like Milan would be a great event.

Yeah, Uncle Ange has a nice ring to it................The Aussie Spurs Fan.
does the cough disappear in AUSTRALIA? home games in Melbourne then?
I don’t remember him having a cough when he managed Melbourne Victory; but then again the A-league plays in summer and autumn.
