I love how Eden body works do their lines. They don’t over do it with multiple lines at the same time and they don’t feel the need to make a product for every single category (cowash, shampoo, gel, cream, etc...) Though the lines are smaller, they all work together well. I’m intrigued by the scalp serum. I have super dry itchy scalp and will try anything to sooth my miserable scalp.
I love this line. I was a little skeptical with the foam leave in, but my results were great. I get a soft hold. I started my journey with Eden Bodyworks and they haven’t failed me yet!

They have the Papaya line now on Target. When I use the As I Am cowash my hair grows like crazy! When I stop using it I can tell a difference. So I looked and of course it has the castor oil.
My hair is naturally thinner in the middle (I think it’s the male pattern baldness that LoriAnne was talking about) so I massage pure Jamaican Black Castor Oil into my scalp on freshly washed hair before I do my wash and go. The hair in the middle has definitely thickened since I started using it and it has grown. I didn’t even notice it at first.
i’m using jbco now on my hair everyday for more fullness i’ve been using it for almost a month now . & i also use the JBCO line from shea moisture the cleansing shampoo & the leave -in conditioner .. it has made my hair grow an more full .. a lot of ppl have noticed my growth .. i haven’t maybe becuz i see my hair everyday idk 🤷🏽♀️. but it seems effective . i’m now more focused on the oil applying it everyday an night , i also apply it to my eyebrows too . definitely a timely matter for growth in general i believe LA .. ☺️☺️
Luvly Bliss yes castor oil is a helping factor for thicker hair , it just takes time like everything else you know. i also add the oil to the my deep conditioners on wash day . the jbco line by shea moisture is pretty good i love the leave-in also the conditioner is a cleansing one good for build up an getting that scalp clean & it’s moisturizing.. they also have a hair mask within the line i haven’t tried but heard good things about it .. you should try it i’m sure you will like it . 😌☺️
I’ve had this product for a while and had not tried it yet. Now I can’t wait to try. Thanks ladies. My son used Topomax for seizures and it caused him not to want to eat and was very under weight. He has now been taken off. We couldn’t lower his dosage. 😉
I used a Shea Moisture JBCO Strengthen/Restore Hair serum 2 years ago. At the suggestion of DiscoCurls I added additional peppermint and rosemary oil. I massaged 10 drops into my scalp every night for a few months, my hair grew like crazy. And like you hair LA, my hair grows out, not down. The product is good but it is also the massaging of the scalp that stimulated the growth of my hair. The results are awesome for both of you, I can definitely see all that definition.
My cheat is to just use the Papaya Castor Conditioning HAIRDRESS (very thick, for braids has wax in it) in the shower and brush it in with a denman. I don't need anything else, for some reason when you put it on it the shower it really melts in. I have really tangly hair from greys and too many layers of black hair dye, and this is the best method for me. Plus I don't need a million products or extra time putting in product after the shower. Don't even need a gel. I can also blow dry my hair and my hair keeps the moisture.

when i use castor oil i notice it helps with hair growth too! even more, it makes my hair INCREDIBLY soft & silky especially when i use it to seal & when i don’t use it my hair is noticeably not as soft.
The smell of this product line is bae! I've used the scalp serum and hairdress so far and I like it. Curlbox will save you so much money in the long run. I hope you get on soon!

Eden Bodyworks doesn't really work for me. I used function for the first time. It's a website you go to to put information in about your hair and they actually make the shampoo and conditioner according to your hair needs...it's really nice. I used mine on Saturday and I love mine. Your hair is really cute ladies. Thanks for the vlog.
for itchy scalp --- maybe try to use peeling for your scalp :) you can also do it by yourself mixing any silicon free conditioner with clay :) i mean clay for face :) in Poland its very popular and usually we do scalp peeling at least twice a month :) lost of regards from Poland (Europe)
Pure Jamaican Black Castor Oil definitely works....I used it as a prepoo until I found red pimento oil, which I think works much better but I still use the Shea Moisture jbco deep conditioner and it definitely strengthens the hair with repeated use
I liked the cowash. definitely used the mousse conditioner wrong. I used it as a real conditioner and tried to detangle with it. Didn't like it. Will try it as a a leave in and see if I like it that way. Thanks for the videos.
I think it may be time to clarify with a good sulfate or something along those lines. I clarify weekly, and also weekly wash, as the stylers just build up way too much for me.
This is for naturals who don't shampoo.. shampoo is essential... especially if your always using gels, oils, creams, and leave ins. A clean scalp is the only way for healthy hair growth.
@@Shalayah2010, totally agree with you. If it goes itchy, it's the first sign you need to wash your scalp more thoroughly, not just with another CO-wash or sulfate-free shampoo but with the heavy duty stuff!

I don't really use lines that contain JBCO so often but I use castor oil daily but not on its own..I use an oil blend called Righteous Roots and my hair has and is growing SO much. I even have used castor oil on my brows and lashes and it works !

I use JBCO in my ayurvedic oil mix every other night... and Yes it Thickens your hair Seriously... I mean it works amazingly... I love it I have the one with the Hemp seed oil and the Extra Dark one... I love them.. I use it as a massage oil, hot oil treatment and in my masks... My hair is so thick now... lol LoriAnn here is the Stages off hair growth, it could explain why you didn't get the same results from the JBCO challenge you did.... Anagen- (Growing Phase) The growing phase lasts 2-7 years and determines the length of our hair. Catagen -(Transition Phase) This is the transitional stage that lasts about 10 days. The hair follicle shrinks and detaches from the dermal papilla. Telogen- (Resting Phase) This is the resting phase which lasts around three months. Around 10-15 percent of hairs are in this phase. I use JBCO, I don’t stick to an actual product line. I like to mix and match but I use the actual oil and my hair 2 years ago was so much shorter than it is now and it’s much healthier

Wow I love this wash and go on you Tay your hair just looks soft! And I bet these smell absolutely incredible like you both were saying! Also I have used castor oil and a Celebrity natural hair stylist Tamika Johnson and my good friend Julian Addo ( creator of Adwoa beauty) talk about scalp care. Castor oil actually restructures what you already have on your scalp and hair making the hair stronger and also creating a barrier when sealing in other products. It will even temporarily fill in any open gaps in the hair shaft making it smoother! Just how Tay says she doesn't like it on the shafts of her hair I don't either and neither of them recommend it. Castor, Hemp Seed, and Coconut oils all do contain omega 3,6, and 9 fatty acids which are the building blocks of protein. If you use it to often or if you use it alot in one application people say it can make their hair hard which is true. That's why I tend to stray away from using it unless its on my scalp. But most common way I use it is by mixing it with my deep conditioners! It gives it a boost of hydration and strength so I get a nice balance! Great review mad curls!!

Hello ladies. I use Haitian Black Castor Oil by Kreyol Essence. I put it directly on my edges and it has made my edges thicker. I put it on my eyebrows and it has done the same for them as well. My hubbie uses it more than I do. As a matter of fact I need to order another bottle for he has turned the bottle upside down, to get those last few drops. I also put it in my handmade Black African Soap shampoo. I absolutely love this oil. Lori Anne I have not purchased the Honey Handmade Collection yet and I might not after seeing this review, See. ya'll are not going to make me a product junkie, I'm just not having that. Every time, just when I think I going to purchase a product, then see your next video, I have to pump the brakes, cause I not having it. Both of your results look amazing as usual. I do love the results of the Eden Body works but I noticed that some of the products do contain sulfates. Kinda disappointed about that. My daughter has 3b/3c hair and I have been using DevaCurl which works great.
LA you put a whole heap of mousse in your hair. You could hear it squishing as you we’re applying. Maybe use a touch less next time. Beautiful results.

I would really love to see these brands rely on something other than Glycerin...I want to try these so badly, but my hair hates glycerin....so far, The Mane Choice gold and Soft as Can Be lines and JessiCurl CitrusLavender line are the only brands I can find with consistent non-glycerin ingredients... It has stopped me from being the curl junkie I once was...lol Any suggestion on other products are greatly appreciated!
Interesting! I’ll have to try using it that way. I never used it because I didn’t like the idea of leaving it in my hair for long periods of time because It too heavy for my hair and messed up my wash n gos . But to be able to put it in for a bit and then rinse it out. I’ll have to try that -TA

I tried it for a wash n go and my hair felt really funny and ended up with lots of frizz I was so sad. Their coconut line works amazingly in my hair.

My hair is so thick now... lol LoriAnn here is the Stages off hair growth, it could explain why you didn't get the same results from the JBCO challenge you did....
Anagen- (Growing Phase)
The growing phase lasts 2-7 years and determines the length of our hair.
Catagen -(Transition Phase)
This is the transitional stage that lasts about 10 days. The hair follicle shrinks and detaches from the dermal papilla.
Telogen- (Resting Phase)
This is the resting phase which lasts around three months. Around 10-15 percent of hairs are in this phase. Whilst the old hair is resting, a new hair begins the growth phase.
Exogen- (New Hair Phase)
This is part of the resting phase where the old hair sheds and a new hair continues to grow. Approximately 50 to 150 hairs can fall out daily, this is considered to be normal hair shedding.

I use JBCO, I don’t stick to an actual product line. I like to mix and match but I use the actual oil and my hair 2 years ago was so much shorter than it is now and it’s much healthier

Purchased this during their sale too! Haven't tried yet. I thought the cleanser was a shampoo, but guess its more of a co-wash? Ladies loved your results! Made me wish I bought the conditioner. Ugh missing the good stuff again!😭

I use castor oil by it self for a hot oil treatment or mix it in my deep conditioner or when I’m doing twist outs it definitely works
Wow I love this wash and go on you Tay your hair just looks soft! And I bet these smell absolutely incredible like you both were saying! Also I have used castor oil and a Celebrity natural hair stylist Tamika Johnson and my good friend Julian Addo ( creator of Adwoa beauty) talk about scalp care. Castor oil actually restructures what you already have on your scalp and hair making the hair stronger and also creating a barrier when sealing in other products. It will even temporarily fill in any open gaps in the hair shaft making it smoother! Just how Tay says she doesn't like it on the shafts of her hair I don't either and neither of them recommend it. Castor, Hemp Seed, and Coconut oils all do contain omega 3,6, and 9 fatty acids which are the building blocks of protein. If you use it to often or if you use it alot in one application people say it can make their hair hard which is true. That's why I tend to stray away from using it unless its on my scalp.
But most common way I use it is by mixing it with my deep conditioners! It gives it a boost of hydration and strength so I get a nice balance! Great review mad curls!!
Hey ladies!! This line looks bomb! Might have to go grab it. My favorite oil right now is grape seed oil! It makes my curls so soft and happy. I’ve been using Moska Oil for growth and it’s working but I think it was drying it out a litt
Hello ladies. I use Haitian Black Castor Oil by Kreyol Essence. I put it directly on my edges and it has made my edges thicker. I put it on my eyebrows and it has done the same for them as well. My hubbie uses it more than I do. As a matter of fact I need to order another bottle for he has turned the bottle upside down, to get those last few drops. I also put it in my handmade Black African Soap shampoo. I absolutely love this oil. Lori Anne I have not purchased the Honey Handmade Collection yet and I might not after seeing this review, See. ya'll are not going to make me a product junkie, I'm just not having that. Every time, just when I think I going to purchase a product, then see your next video, I have to pump the brakes, cause I not having it. Both of your results look amazing as usual. I do NOT like this line! 😳😩 It tangled my hair like CRAZY and irritated my scalp!!! I tried it twice and both times my scalp was itching like crazy and felt dry!!!! The definition was BOMB though!

Great video as usual ladies. I love using Jamaican Black Castor Oil or regular Castor Oil as a sealant. It has the consistency of a serum to me. Also, my hair loves products with castor oil in the ingredients. ➰➰💕

I do love the results of the Eden Body works but I noticed that some of the products do contain sulfates. Kinda disappointed about that. My daughter has 3b/3c hair and I have been using DevaCurl which works great.
LA you put a whole heap of mousse in your hair. You could hear it squishing as you we’re applying. Maybe use a touch less next time. Beautiful results.

I use castor oil regularly in scalp oil and I think it definitely works
Idk if it makes you hair “grow” but I definitely think it makes my hair thicker and stronger so it doesn’t break off so I retain for length
We both need to get on a JBCO regimen, if not for growth than definitely to strengthen our hair for sure.

I would really love to see these brands rely on something other than Glycerin...I want to try these so badly, but my hair hates glycerin....so far, The Mane Choice gold and Soft as Can Be lines and JessiCurl CitrusLavender line are the only brands I can find with consistent non-glycerin ingredients... It has stopped me from being the curl junkie I once was...lol

Interesting! I’ll have to try using it that way. I never used it because I didn’t like the idea of leaving it in my hair for long periods of time because It too heavy for my hair and messed up my wash n gos . But to be able to put it in for a bit and then rinse it out. I’ll have to try that -TA
