Tay try the pudding on hair for a winter routine so we know how it does
Lovely results ladies! I found the smell totally went away after awhile. There is a learning curve to these products. No need to use alot. I don't do silicones so I only use the gel or pudding but not together. I'm a kinky coarse 4C and the pudding gives a nice hold and definition. For my hair type, the pudding could be more moisturizing so I layer with an oil blend or Carol's Daughter mimosa honey. Getting great results on twists outs and bantu knot outs. I haven't seen any flaking at all. Fingers crossed! 😇
Okay, your results are SICK.EN.ING!!!! Watch more of MoKnowshair's videos; she's great, really informative. And she doesn't ascribe to hair typing; she also educates on silicones (not all bad, she says). And TaylorAnne, I LOVE the eyeshadow matching the product! My hair is more coily than curly and I got the same results (soft, defined); fabulous hydration, moisture, softness, detangling. Love you! ❤❤❤

Very informative, I did not know about this line! I think I may wait for the Honey Baby Naturals and the Botanika Beauty before I purchase any more brands.
I know you guys don't want to try to many brands to avoid the clutter of unused products....how about using one line, like this one and styling with that one brand, in different combinations, or styling techniques for a month and then moving on to a new brand. It may help you go thru the products and give us ideas on how to use the product within the line, not to mention it may help learn a new technique (ie: finger coil, sectioning, scrunching, wet plopping, denman, etc)...throwing some ideas out there!😉

I love the clarifier and cowash.
The deep conditioner is meh to me.
The stylers definitely have a learning curve, but you do not need much at all.
On my multitexture type 3a to 4c hair, it is a very fluffy wng.
The scent doesn't really bother me too much, but it is strong for sure.
I got it for 4 for $20, restocked on the clarifier, cowash, and pudding. I'll pass on the DC, gel, shampoo. I have not tried the primer or potion yet.
What I really like is deceased shedding noted immediately, and my straight parts are trying to curl back up. I did note minimal flaking, more when I used the pudding, but I loved the wng I got best with pudding alone. It was very pretty. The gel has more hold than you would think and actually slicks down my puff.
I just got back from Sally’s got the Cowash and the treatment. I passed on the stylers. I didn’t think the smell was so strong, I like the smell.
These products were amazing for my high porosity hair!! Taylor Anne, you weren’t kidding when you said that co-wash was *everything*! My hair had never felt so silky. It is bomb! And the scent...yes. Lori Anne, you weren’t kidding on that either. I hope she tones it down in the future because idk if I can live without this product now, but the scent keeps me from wanting to just use it constantly, you know?
Edited to add: I did my wash n go with the scalp clarifier on dry hair then wet to lather and rinse (love), co-wash as a conditioner (SUPER love) and the curl smoothing pudding (love - no frizz, no flakes!!) as a wash n go. I didn’t need a gel. 3 days later, still barely any frizz. It was great!! Thanks again ladies! ☺️
Great review. I haven't seen many that were as thrilled as you both were with the results. Many didn't care for the flaking.
The products rolled out in Sallys on Oct. 1. Since I heard about the 4 for $20 I bought them, but I haven't used them yet because they did not have the co-wash or shampoo. Going to order the rest on her website. Both of your results are amazing. This is the first review I have seen on Mo's products. I am super excited now to try them.

TaylorAnne, if you are interested in getting more definition and volume I recommend trying a three strand twist out. I saw one video (thanks to annettemint on YT) who showed an easy way of doing it: split your hair in three sections, twist two of the sections like a regular two-strand twist, and twist the last section around the two-strand twist. It's faster to install and the take down is easier than a braid-out (though, since you want to elongate your bangs you could continue braiding the bang section of your hair).

I used to think my twistout and braidouts were fails because I never got the consistent corkscrew pattern after taking them down. I finally realized that my curl pattern was just strong and distinctive. It's like Tayloranne's. It looks like a more stretched wash n go.

I actually bought of the line two days ago because I’m familiar with Mo she was one of the first persons I watched when I went natural but when you said there was 4/$20 I went on the sight and bought the rest except the shampoo-don’t think it’s out yet at least I didn’t see it. I can’t wait to try the product, glad you reviewed it and glad it was favorable🤗
Your braid out looks like your wash n go...lol...so pretty!. I have also had a similar experience in the past when I did a braid out because my curls have a tightly defined curl pattern. This was a great review, I hope this line does well.
I haven't purchased the products yet because I just put my hair in braids. But, you can bet as soon as these come out I'll be jumping all over these products. Mo really does know hair.
Mo had a salon in NY but she recently closed it and moved to Atlanta via her IG. I tried this hair product on my daughter’s hair which is a similar texture to you both of you and I loved it! The clarifier is very nice and I combined both the pudding and gel which gave her a good hold! You two look great! Side note: the scent smells like she put lavender in it and it’s also similar to the black ice scent that you put in your car. I forgot what they are called lol.

I only liked the treatment. I tried the cowash and did not like it. LoriAnne you nailed it with your comment about the smell... the pudding is good but I couldn’t handle the scent. I actually thought it was going to dissipate but it did not and I hate the perfumy smell of my hair. I returned it!

oh and tbh taylor i don’t think you need to big chop.. just get your hair reshaped and let it grow from there.

You two make the first video out of the 3 I’ve seen on the line that actually like the conditioner/co-wash not too many are in love with it. One video I saw said it had no slip. I can’t wait to get my hands on the line cause I enjoyed Mo videos when she would post YT videos.

That's how I prefer to do braid outs too. If I wanted to take on a true braid out pattern, I would do it on dry hair so my curls aren't forming. The problem is I have to do more sections if I want any definition. With a wet braid out, I can do larger sections; I do 4 to 6 depending on the product. And if I use super defining strong holding stylers, I can get away with 2 loose sections.

The fragrance is overwhelming. I purchased and used the curl wash, the restorative treatment, the curl primer and the style pudding. I did a twist out. I was disappointed in this line. My hair felt tangled and drier after I rinsed out the co-wash. My twist out wasn't defined and felt dry. I will finish up the products somehow, but I will definitely be doctoring them up.

The 4 for 20 is only if you buy the one particular product. For example, you have to buy 4 of the Curl Smoothing Pudding to qualify for the sale.
I don’t think that’s how it works. We saw the receipt and ours was $20 for the 4 different products.
