    This is my S23 Plus Review 3 months later. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus is a great upgrade over the S22 Plus in many ways that are both impressive and surprising, especially in the battery, performance, and power department. The S23 Plus fixed most of hte issues I had with the S22+, minus if costing $999. I think that the S23 Plus is a better priced at $799-850, but for $999, it can be worthwhile if you're interested in the phone or get a good deal.

    I Just got my S23 plus yesterday. I came from the iPhone and I think this screen is way better. The phone in general feels way more sturdy. The adaptive touch with the Vibrating makes for a great tactile button feel.
    The amount of customization that this phone allois apple is absolutely amazing. The sidebar feature which quite honestly is one of my favorite features of the phone, It's ingenious and intuitive to use. I feel like the screen is large but not excessive. For somebody who has hands that are generally considered to be on the larger, this phone feels really good in my hands and is nice to hold my fingers Don't cramp up holding this phone like they did with the iphone. I enjoy the fact this phone has a nice weight to it.

    I originally got the S23 Ultra but i got so tired of the square corners and curved screen. I sold it and got the S23+ last week. No regrets!! The size is perfect and the battery is amazing. I get about 7-8 hours of screen time a day on it.. half of that is watching youtube and the battery isnt even lower than 20-30% at the end of my day.

      @hobbitpsi Před rokem +4

      @@dennis-br6vr lol I did the same too, theres just so much about the ultra that's unnecessary. Like I never touched the s-pen and the 100x zoom... I call stalker zoom, because there's no real world purpose for it except maybe zooming in to see what your neighbor is doing lol. The plus is such a great option this year and aside from not having an s-pen, it feels a lot like how the note had the note and the note ultra models.

    The phone you are holding in your hands has everything that the iPhone 14 PRO MAX has to offer or better except (video recording and it isn't bad on s23+, resolution but s23+ screen is sharp enough so the average person wouldn't be able to notice the difference, slightly better speakers ). On the other hand s23+ has better battery, better screen overall(better screen to body ratio), better photos for me, better design for me, much more features ,a fingerprint reader, cheaper price, more compact and feels good in the hands and most importantly better gaming performance for a long period. I know iPhone 14 pro max has better Cinabench score but at that level and being that close does it even matter. I'm just sick of seeing people go for Apple just because they are the most popular. if you just look at the two phones subjectively no one would pick the dynamic island trash. It takes too much of the screen. They have been taking advantage of people because they know no matter what trash they throw at them they will buy it as it is called iPhone. BTW iPhone 10,11,12,13,14 all have almost the same design. Where is the creativity of the so called the best phone manufacturer?

    I've been waiting for Samsung to come out with a model that would make me want to upgrade & they've done it with the s23+. The current trade in offer and double the memory at no extra cost was too good to pass up. At just under $200 I've got a phone that I'm super excited about. Hopefully I'll still feel the same after using it for awhile, but right now, I am really happy with my purchase.

    I had the s23 ultra and sold it and now I have the s23+. This phone is great! There was so much with the s23 ultra, while it was amazing, I just didn't need a lot of it. The s23+ is the perfect size and feel. Love how it's a rounded boxy design and the flat screen reminds me a whole lot of how and iphone's screen is and I love the iphone's screen. Now I've only had the phone for 2 days and it's still doing the learning usage patterns, but damn the battery life is great. Took it off the charger this morning and at this time which is 2am my battery is at 69%. The camera's aren't the 200mp but come on, there's no need for those MP unless you're planning on blowing up a picture into a poster. It doesn't have the 100x stalker mode zoom, but again, that's not needed and the 30x zoom is pretty good. I'm usually not satisfied with my phone because on day 1 I always find something that bugs the hell out of me, but this phone is actually doing real well for me.

    Honestly different phone, but the 23u is a huge upgrade over the 22u. So many creators are saying its not worth the upgrade. I disagree with whoever says it. Yes the phone looks the same. But most put cases on them. The inside is what matters to me ci don't care If it looks like a waffle. Performance is key and 23u has it all imo.

    What Samsung should do is have a nice camera border (Not sure what's it called) for those 3 lenses like the Sony xperia 1 V. I think the Sony has the best camera aesthetic setup. All 3 lenses looks like a single unit. Same with the Pixel phones.

    I had gotten the s23 Ultra from Google for $80 bucks cash after mu trade in. This s23 plus, someone traded me this device and $200 for a new 14 plus. So it was pretty good. I use the s23 plus for making invoices and watching my streaming shows. I'm currently using my SE 22, ZFOLD4, pixel 7, and my s23 plus. The s23 plus feels good on the hand. Wait until the Moto Edge 2023 arrives in 2 weeks. Itll put the S23 Plus to shame. Guranteed. Samsung is so overrated esp the S23 Ultra. The display is mediocre. Agree with a few other comments, its washed out and the colors are muted. Plus has a horrible blue hue when tilting the phone. Edge Plus 2023 with a 165 hz refresh rate, no bezels from a endless edge quad curved screen. Motorola makes the best phones in my opinion minus the cameras which are the worst. Will you be doing a review on the Motorola Thinkphone and the Moto Edge Plus 2023?

    • @TechOdyssey

      Lol. The Moto will not put it to shame. Have you actually used an S23 phone? The screen is definitely not washed out. As far as reviewing them, likely not. I've reached out to them multiple times requesting both and they don't even return my emails.

      @@TechOdyssey yea I had the S23Ultra but I had to return it because of the PWM. But I do think Motorola displays are punchier then Samsungs even though their made by Samsung. But after using a 144hz refresh rate, cant ever go back to a 60 or 120. I can tell the difference in scrolling. If I was Motorola Id send you both of them to review them. @TechOdyssey  Před rokem

      @@butlerfan8012 the PWM is definitely better on Moto. Thats for sure. The 144hz is also nice but I didn't notice really going back to 120hz. Maybe versus 90hz. The Edge phones are good but start out priced way too high. Thankfully they dropped the price this year. $999 last year hurt them. It was $499 by the end of the year and an amazing deal. With Motorola, who knows. When dealing with PR people, 80% of the time you don't get a response when you reach out. And usually the answer is "sorry. No review units". Extremely rare to get anyone to send me anything, sadly.

      @@TechOdyssey Yea agree Motorola way overprices their phones when they first come out. Then drop em like 50% few months later. It begs question whats logic they are so high in first place. The 2022 Edge Plus at $999 was insane. $499 is a good price for it. It feels like sorta their shifting emphasis away from budget phones, putting dimensity SOCs and downgrades in them now, and for the first time being more aggressive putting great specs in a flagship.
