It was made in partnership with Arex, but made here. Arex is supplying some parts. I have Gen 1 and 2 Deltas, thought I would check this one out. Ordered from Dahlonega Armory, $355 plus tax and shipping. Took four days to get to west-central Ohio.
I just got home with the Rost-Martin. Nice gun.
Trigger is better than a new Arex; but the Delta breaks in/polishes in to match the RM. Slight advantage RM. It has the trigger that Deltas SHOULD ship with.
The grip is slightly fatter than the Delta; just barely. Probably because it is more rounded; same corners but fill in the curves and you are there. It's definitely smoother. Advantage Delta. Unless you like a rounder, smoother grip, then advantage RM.
Slides are directly interchangeable with a Gen2 Delta; sight cuts look the same. Serrations on the RM are grippier, and the top is grooved for glare. Advantage RM
Mag catch is slightly large, more round, and protrudes slightly. Easier to depress, but still shouldn't let go unintentionally. Slightly longer reach to hit it well, due to the grip and shape of the release. Calling this one even.
Machining and fit are excellent, same as the Delta.
Slide release is a little bigger than the Delta.
Holster fit is pretty much the same; there seems to be a tiny bit more drag with the RM, but not significantly.
The Delta has the lever loaded chamber indicator, while the RM has a hole at the rear of the chamber to see the loaded round. Personal preference issue; butt he Delta works in the dark or without taking eyes off of the threat. Cocking indicators are the same.
The Rost-Martin uses their mags, which are cheap on their website. They also use CZ P10C mags. They will not accept Arex mags due to the shape of the baseplate. That could be remedied with a grinder if you like. The Arex Delta will work with all 3 types.
Nice gun. Definitely worth the price.
LOVE both of mine thus far.
as an owner of arex delta in the 2000s serial number, I was like, thats an Arex. no shit why its 450 for american made, its an Arex
This was more helpful than a sootch00 infomercial... I mean "review" one thing to note about the shell indicator lever on the arex. I know if one review where the person had a FTE on camera where the spent case got caught on the lever and caused a jam. One in a million odds? Maybe. Just something to be aware of.
Thanks for the detailed comparison. I've been thinking about getting a Delta M 2, so I'll be on watch for an RM.
@@funkla65 Happy to help.
Adopting a preexisting magazine and sights is one of the smartest moves for a new product
Yep, every model having different mags gets real annoying especially compared to an AR stanag pattern concept.
Arex Delta clone apparently
@@RichardCranium321 what mags does the delta take
Seconds in I’m going the Internet is going to have fun with this name “Roast Martin” incoming.
Gun bunnies are back!!!!
And bearded❤ we love you!
Aww. You're the best! You had me for a sec. I love you too.
Great pistol . Picked mine up a couple weeks back
Sold!!!
Clean nice looking gun.
Nice
Arex Delta at home.
It's a Arex Delta clone
Any chance of a full size version?
I’m sold I’ll give one a test rip.
How was that grip angle, bruh??
So basically 90% of this gun can be printed and the rest are borrowed parts from other guns. As someone mentioned Arex is A great similar option. I'm guessing the d-bags paying $3K for guns are going to be shocked in A few years to find out the same gun can be printed for 1/20th the cost.
We're basically a few years from really good nylon printers being affordable to the average person. More places should be selling parts kits for that reason
@@platapus112i have a g19 in pla+ with a few hundred rounds through it.
@@radradR0bot Oh yeah I do too. It's still pretty not mainstream with a fairly little community. It's definitely growing but not to that point yet. I fully see fdm printers in households in the next couple years
You're not printing a $3k gun, you're printing a $600 gun
@@ALovelyBunchOfDragonballz How much do you think it actually costs Glock to acquire materials and build A gun per unit??? Speculation is it is less t5han $40 and half of that cost is probably the power bill and shipping costs. If it costs Glock more than $100 per to make A Gen 5 I'd be shocked. The ability to do this with machinery at home is closer in timeframe than you think. Pretty soon gun companies will be selling IP locked CAD specs, not the actual guns.
Needs more best millimeter
It looks right.
I thought she worked for Springfield.
She did with the other co founder that left and started this company
@@radradR0bot cool, good for her.
Aren't most striker fired 9mm pistols on the US market made in the US? I knows theres a few imports but companies like SW are completely domestic and companies like Glock, FN, and Beretta have US plants.
Oddly enough, no mention in any of the resources I can find that mention the modular chassis system. You would think that they would tout that as the feature that it is.
I believe that the serial number is etched onto the base of the front frame rail, which is set into the frame.
That would seem to be a bad idea. I would have to pull the chassis to check, though.

@@OhioCruffler I’ve reviewed the exploded view diagram, seems to confirm my theory. It was probably done to save on production costs 🤔
She's stunning! I'll take 10!😉
Gooner brain on full display
Awe, triggered by polite expressions of heterosexuality. Poor some salt on it son.
@karambitmaker but it not relevant, you have gooner brain, you want videos alll day of woman and truly dont see them as mothers of children but depraved objects
$408 right now @guns
Pretty marketing lady.
Gun sold.
Am I too poor to have never heard of these guys?
nah, they're new but they're making stuff in partnership with arex
@skyofstorms I love arex! Been rocking a delta since gen 1.
I frequently carry my Gen1; I like it better than the Gen2. I *think* I like the Rost Martin better than either, but I need to shoot it a lot to decide for sure.@@mcleod_aka_doom1961
Idk, diversity hire companies don't sit right with me after OceanGate and Boeing adopted that same business model.
It's just a woman bro why are you so upset
Just because it's a woman doesn't mean it's a diversity hire. She obviously knows the product.
@@radradR0bot she even called it a magazine
@@gormless-idiotshes one of the founders. Shes the Rost in the Rost Martin
@@radradR0bot that's awesome
Holy crap they figured out the difference between a CZ 75 mag and a P10. Them advertising this as US made is laughable and insulting though.
Just another cheap Glock copy.
