You all are basically catching all the awesome stuff we all want to see at shot… however if you all spot some more NV/Thermal optics I personally would love to see what’s new.
If people keep buying that shit of course. If people could hold of not buying any of their shit for at least 3 months i guarantee the price would drop by half
Irks me whenever I hear _"Civilian version"_ or _"Restricted to Military and Law Enforcement."_ Furthermore, I truly believe the advent of the moniker *Law Enforcement* is where we as a country took a dive. That was the literal turning point for our society as a whole. The Peace Officer era was effectively neutralized and vilified, only to be replaced with *_Enforcement._* The powers that be would rather enforce the laws and regulations, instead of keeping the peace. Not to mention, I _still_ cannot figure out why the FDA is the entity charged with regulating IR devices. What's next? The FAA becomes the premier vegetable garden oversite committee? Better watch out Andrew. They are coming for your Aquaponics garden! Stay classy my friends.
@@userJohnSmith What are you even babbling about? Are you saying, people should not have full powered laser? If so, it's not up to you whether another human should have something or not. That's between the human who makes the product and the human who wants to buy it. Not some 3rd party organization like a government to make that decision for you.
I wish EO Tech made a simple laser pointer. I love EO Tech, great stuff, but also expensive. A simple novelty laser pointer would be a cool little piece of tech from them at a low price.
Aaron Hampton did Eotech no favors when he prematurely ejaculated the OGL price and release date. It’s vaporware at this point and its competition will chip away at its performance innovation. Please refrain from flexing on podcasts people;)
I can’t believe that guy works for eotech. Dude has no idea what he’s saying talking about when he branch up the FDA and how they restricted adjustable illuminators. No wonder the OGL is a flop
Would love to see a SFP Vudu in a 1-8 or 1-10 with a simple duplex or #4 reticle made in the same factory with the same glass and same ruggedness as the standard Vudu. Would make for an excellent competitor to the Leupold Patrol 6.
@@yomamasbeefcurtains Are the bdc drops really that distracting to you? They’re simple notches. It’s not like a full Christmas tree reticle or a reticle with wind holds and range estimation.
Idk man. Brass facts and some other videos showed the Iris’ performance and from initial impressions looked pretty weak. The FP model looked good though but that doesn’t help the civ market so 🤷♂️
Eotech is garbage for raising the prices on the OGL when Chinese companies can make VSCEL lasers for sub 1k, pretty shameless not to offer a civ option.
So pumped for the civilian version of the OGL to be available just before the 2028 election!
Correction * 2038
Based on his comments, it sounds like it's going to be neutered just like everything else.
there aint gonna be a 2028 election dawg 💀
He said no visible illuminator. Yea thats called a flashlight 😂
Civ OGL really looking like vaporware at this point.
You all are basically catching all the awesome stuff we all want to see at shot… however if you all spot some more NV/Thermal optics I personally would love to see what’s new.
Two years late, and two grand over initially promised price. 😂
Eotech deserves to have holosun wreck them.
Exactly 💯%
It's almost like the economy has taken a complete shit and as a result everything is overpriced in the States.
Props to the Eotech guy for answering questions honestly. And props to Andrew for asking the questions I actually wanted answered.
Thank you.
OGLc basically confirmed to either never launch or be ATPIALc bad. Total bummer.
I was excited and then I heard $2,500-$3,000... I'm so tired of NV gear being crazy spendy.
Yeah and last year they quoted 2199. Currently listed for 2999 on their website lol.
If people keep buying that shit of course. If people could hold of not buying any of their shit for at least 3 months i guarantee the price would drop by half
Go make one yourself for cheaper. Go ahead.

Maybe with the current cases that the Supreme courts is dealing with will put an end to the FDA restrictions on laser. (Hope)
Yeah... That's not actually a thing you want, nor is it the restriction that represents a problem for weapons systems.

@@wakeupusa7839 Hell no. I have class iv stuff all over my lab. It should be properly labeled though.

Vis lasers are dumb and pointless though
Gotta admit, I was drooling over that mad pig lever gun over anything else in that video
Fantastic ! Glad they notified us now, I can start saving for a used one to buy in 10 - 15 yrs... MSRP = 3 mortgage payments
nah they lost me as a customer, this thing started out at 1500 and has now doubled in price.
Welcome to the new economy isn't it great?
Is the OGL a single laser emitter for the IR features or a multi diode set up like the B.E. Meyers MAWL?
What would the government do if everybody stopped complying with every and any gun restriction
Would’ve like to see the 2-12 also
Awesome 👌 another LPVO that costs 200 to make 👏 getting sold for 800....exactly what we need
I want an OGL. Pending on performance.
Algorithm buster…. I love you more
Not an eotech fan, just watching to support Andrew.
I think that guy is Hop's real dad, James is just the guy that was slipping it to Hops mom.
Remember when it was $1299? ROFL!
Pepperidge farms remembers
Bom dia aqui acompanhando seu trabalho parabéns 🇧🇷🌹 7:42
I gotta have that lever action
Andrew how tall is that eotech guy he makes you look so smol
holy height over bore batman
When these guys keep saying “Illuminator” does that mean flashlight?

Last year, he said the ogl would be $2100. Now he is saying 3k. Wow.
Everyone you interview cringes when you say Party People

The FDA is who controls lasers🤷

The Vudu 1-8 is exactly this already. It's an SFP duplex reticle with basic BDC drops in MOA at 2, 5, 8.5, and 12.5 MOA.
@@Exl6243 Now if we could just get them to put the non-BDC reticle in it…

$2500 to $3000 for the ogl. holosun is gonna eat their lunch lmfao. gtfo.

Kinda pointless to put out a $2k+ Civ OGL the same year Holosun drops a $800 IRIS LAM.
Another year no new holographic sights, yipee. Smh.

Just got my ogl for 4k but it was hard to get🤌
