Nice. But why not use the key of A, middle of the fret board, easier to see and understand IMO. Maybe because it wouldn’t sound as “shreddy “. 🤷🏽♂️ Good video.
I've watched this brilliant video, just questioning my own knowledge here: Do you start and end the G minor pentatonic with a flattened B? I can't get past the idea of starting on root notes, slightly confused. I.e - starting that G minor pentatonic from G on the high E string. What am I doing wrong here? 🤣
Because everybody uses it? It’s not like that in real life playing
What about the flat 5 for the blues scale?
When you drop down 3 frets the b5 of the minor blues scale becomes the m3rd I’m the Major Blues scale. All the licks you’d use with the minor blues scale transfer and vice versa
