new m2 would walk it stock vs stock just like g80 vs f80... still good value buying an old m2 and tuning it faster than the new one for relatively cheap... potential engine blowing up issues aside

Got OG M2 stock with a manual Gearbox, if you want to run all three and see how they compare. I'm actually quite local to the airfield as well.
Tuning one and comparing it to a stock version of another is interesting. If they could have done both Stock then tuned it would have shown the differences. I've been saying from when the new M@ came out that with the styling changes ad the much heavier build I'd much prefer the old M2 then just give it a light tune. This shows I'm onto it!

Mate I have a custom to tune m140 running 443 bhp and 632 nm and I pull away just from a g82 m3 x drive so this is hardly surprising.

Check out Carwow upload of an M240 xdrive with a £600 tuning box upgrade vs the new M2. Spoiler alert….the M2 got thrashed. You don’t need expensive mods to make the car fast. Plus the new M2 is £16k more expensive than the M240 xdrive. Which would you choose?

Zandvoort Blue is the G87 and the F87 is Long Beach Blue
I had a Stage1 M2C 530bhp and it was very fast compared to stock. For a brand new stock M2 to keep up with it for alot of that race shows how good that new motor is. I also had the X3M stage1 610bhp. I can imagine what the New M2 will be like with a tune. Looks class lowered too 👍🏾
Seeing as the M2 has the S58. It's already established they can get 700bhp with just downpipes and a flash.
M2 has a ton of potential. Mod for Mod, no F series can compete. This is coming from a tuned F80 owner.
@tanoAE86 yeh thats what I'd have got on my X3M had I went for downpipes too. Booked my test drive in the new M2 in 2 days time. Taking a manual and an auto out back to back.

M2c gets to ~510hp and more than ~700nm, with a stage1. New g87 is 460hp stock. I think sth is wrong with the tuned M2c, it should be faster.
Question i want the answer to is which car is the better pick M2 or redesigned RS3?
I've raced a heavily modified M2 comp with my RS3. The 2021 model. I had an intercooler, downpipe turbo inlet and and stage 2 software. And it wasn't even close. Demolished the M2. Didn't expect that but yeah. And from a standing start it was not even fair.
The M2 is the better pick by far. The only reason you’d want the RS3 is if you absolutely need 4 doors, but can’t afford an M3.

I’ve got a model 3 performance and an M2 comp stage 2…. Tesla absolutely demolishes every time! M2 canNOT keep up at all. However, BMW is a bit better to drive, but not much though
