  • A friend was quoted $1600 for a transmission replacement when he complained of slow mowing speeds. He was told the transmission was not serviceable so needed to be replaced. We troubleshoot it and fix it for a considerably lower cost. Like free!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I have been experiencing the same problem with my mower. I took a look at the transmission brackets and I was missing the same bolt. I went to the hardware store and for less the $2 I was able to repair my mower. And now I also know how to change the transmission fluid. Thanks for sharing this video!

You just saved me - I had the exact same problem.
I had just changed the drive belt that did not fix my slow in reverse problem. So THANK YOU : )
The replacement belt that they sold me for this same mower was a !/2" X 79" and it is loose enough to fall off of the most rear pully that is forward of the fan pully. When paring it next to the original belt it was just a tad shorter than the old and scratched belt. Can you tell me if the 79" is a proper length for this mower??? Thank you again for this fix it video.

Unfortunately I don't know the answer to that. That is a buddy of mine's mower. Sorry I can't help more.
