  • I give step by step instructions of how to replace your worn out idler wheel on the underside of your riding lawn mower! Mine is a Husqvarna but this similar to many other makes & models!

Oh man! I killed half a day on this. Wish I would have started off watching this. I have nearly everything on the top side torn off trying to figure how to stop the carriage bolt from spinning. If I wasn't so tired of dealing with it, I'd go right back out and hang on the far pulley side. I have another half day tomorrow to dedicate to this. I love the part where you say, "that's dumb." I probably said that 9 times today. Thanks a million.

Pretty much all my pulleys are messed up and lawn mower is stupid loud when I let out the clutch pedal… does yours have a total of 4 pulleys or 3 ? All the kits I see only include 3 but it seems mine has 4 the one all the way in back is a smaller medal one and it’s pretty loud thinking I need to replace that one aswell. Mine is 22 48 same as yours before you modified it

Man I sure wish I would of found this video sooner. My husband and I have been fighting ours past few days and have tore down mower to do it. The Bolt Fin Hex is actually under the orange part of the frame. Its a pain to get to and a lot more parts to take off. We ended up grinding off the bottom to get pulley of because it would not budge for nothing and replace the bolt. Now we just gotta put everything back together. Your video is awesome!

I am currently in the same situation, I was thinking I had done something wrong when that bolt was spinning, Had to put pressure to get the nut off, such a stupid design. I just hope now I can get it back tight.
I also thought about taking the spring off, how did you get it back on ?
