Great demo and review. I purchased one on clearance the other day, and was on the fence about keeping it. After watching your video, I decided to keep it.

A very important tip: Do NOT charge any and i mean any mini bluetooth speaker with a charger that has more amps output (for charging faster) than what's indicated to be charge for the speaker (in most cases 1A) because doing so will fuck up the battery and you will soon see that the battery will no longer hold a charge and you'll have to recharge the speaker the next couple of days you want to use because it will be dead when turn on!

Almost a decade later and I still have this speaker. Sony added the XB series killing all sound. This still remains a far superior speaker over anything in its category. I went so far as to buy the SRS-X5 and X9 and they both sucked in comparison.

Appreciate your review. One thing you don't address is using the jack input. I've noticed that I can't get adequate volume playing my iPod Classic through this speaker, using the jack input.

Thanks for the review..Does it always require to be powered by the AC supply? If not how much long does the battery last on this device on continuous play? And how much time does the battery take to charge the device completely

I connected Bluetooth successfully to my iPhone but it wasn't playing, instead only my phone was. I tried to restart and reconnect, still didn't work. Do you know how to fix this?

I recently got this for Christmas, works great...the sound however comes out of one source which is the front. Is the sound supposed to come out of the back and front sides or is the back just for base?

How's this speaker compared to Harman Kardon Onyx Studio?
