Yay! Isn't it fun stocking the shelves? Lots of work, but fun. Thank you for the peek into your process. Well done!
It is super fun stocking the shelves...almost a little addictive...hehe!! Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for dropping by🥰
Great video! I have noticed that freeze dried food is better than dehydrated 🍅🌱
Thanks! And yes it certainly is isn't it?!
I love this video. so inspiring. One thing I did last year with MOCK Pineapple Zuch. was to make it with a combination of shredded carrots and shredded zuchini/squash with pineapple juices etc.. I call it carrot cake starter.. I have a carrot cake I make that calls for both shredded carrot and pineapple... this was so easy same way you make the mock pineapple. I keep 3 versions of it. shredded pineapple zuch, cubed zuch pine and carrot cake starter.
Wow that sounds awesome!! Thanks for sharing!
It takes so much effort but you've done a wonderful job of preserving all that food!
It definitely is a lot of work but it gets kinda addictive😂 Thanks!
This is a great video Jen
Thanks Michelle❤
You are so inspiring ❤
Ahhh thanks🥰
Fyi from your last video , Goldenrod is amazing for pain and inflammation as well!! I always have plenty in stock dried for tea, but oil infused for salves. This year I doubled down one batch and added dandelion flowers to it for added pain relief ❤
Awesome info thanks!! I have dandelion oil already infused and ready to go! I made a wonderful dandelion poplar salve with some of it and I love it!
Definitely do the Dijon. I made dijon last year following the recipe in "The All New Ball Book of Canning and Preserving" and my family loves it.
Thank you for that recommendation! Just looked it up and definitely gonna try that recipe!
Lack of eggs can probably be attributed to the grain...
The recipes have been altered, not for the better
Very much agree with you on this one!!! Unfortunately where we live here in NL we don't have access to much variety....so we are kind of stuck with what we can get. Otherwise we would be looking at maybe mixing our own blends.
I think everyones hens stopped laying last year. I started mine on organic whole grains and still didn't get many but I had enough.
Yeah it was a weird year for hens last year lol!
What kind of jars is your chicken broth in? It doesn’t look like the usual mason jar. Just wondering.
Those are actually re-purposed jars from store bought spaghetti sauce (classico brand). They are a mason type jar and regular lids and rings fit them so I've been using them for years. That's the only brand I've found though that has this type of jar.
