That kinda leadership guy is the reason I keep hopping into counter strike every now and then, makes it more fun to play and learn while playing
Genuinely need competitive modes in games where you can queue as an IGL with your own respective rank that would be the same as the enemies IGL rank and the rest of the team would be a couple ranks lower, or just spectating and help call shots and try to coach teams. You could have your own “coach” associated rank. Any competitive game could try this out. Ofc you need a big competitive community. But this could be the kick in the ass for valves matchmaking and also these matches would have virtually no cheating. You have a random coach on each team who probably will be reporting you if he notices you cheating. Maybe the coach slots you need to have a verified account or something. Just something for a little added security. Also it’s would be a bannable offense queing as a coach if you don’t speak the national language of the country of the servers in which you’re queuing.
not everyone likes that , my teammates just all died pistol round and i won with an ace , buyed ak the next round told them lets go ramp to heaven , they kill me at spawn to take my ak , i tell them no need kill me u ask i drop... they say stfu and kicked me in the second round :)

In CSGO I was in LEM - Supreme level all the time. Always Solo. In Beta I got 15000 elo. After game release I got... 1539 points :D :D :D

in CS:GO I was hard stuk GN4 and in Beta I got 4,5k and now I got 2,4k... I don't know what the fuck are their calculus like but can tell you for free, it's wrong as fuck.
i was global, currently lvl 10 faceit 3 k elo, i got 1.5 k as well, i was 18 k in beta.... got up to 14 k with 77% win rate 60 games later.....
oeh, we streamed in on the same rank, but to be fair, i think there are still some problems with the ranking system, i literally won all my 10 first matches (one might have been a draw, for a total of 11 matches) but i rank in on like 8/9K elo, apart from one match i did abt 2k damage per game being on top of the board, all the time... i feel like i deserved more elo for all my hard work and ez wins

My first was very close to yours (around 8400). Now I am 10k, playing a bit here and there nothing major. In CSGO my last rank was DMG, but it's because I didnt play for a long time then got rank then lost it again, then got it again, etc. and you usually got one lower. When I was actively playing I was Supreme/Global but that was in 2017 😅
Back in csgo I made it to MGE, quit playing for like 2 weeks to play idk pubg or something and lost my rank. I come back and drop like 43 in my placement game and come to find I was silver 2, csgo ranks were horrible

I got ranked 12k in the beta and only got 1.6k in the release... I was supreme in CSGO and had a 50% win rate (kinda low) to achieve a 1.6k elo. Got ranked lower and did better than people I queued with

I got 1700 as my first rank 😂 never have I gotten as many hackuzations in my journey out of the well. Up to 10k now solo queue is a nightmare most of the time. I think I'll probably cap out soon as I am not good haha but definitely 1700 bad XD

I was global in csgo for over a year, every game I played in the release I got over 30 kills but I lost the first 6 I played because my teammates got between 0 and 10 kills. I finally got a rank after some dubs and ended up at 1322... so now I’m on the grind upward. Luckily because my score is so low I get +350 for each game but still, the ranking doesn’t seem to be much more accurate than csgo’s ranks

I’m in the same boat but once you get above 4k, you only get 100 per win and will lose close to 300 per loss. You need over a 66% win rate to get to 5k. It is so much worse when you get to 4k. I had a 6 win streak and lost all that elo from 2 losses in a row. The system is completely broken.
It's a lot of fun under 10k mark tho. Being able to troll and top frag every game. It's a lot more enjoyable to me than tryharding.
