Which is still most likely made from other pokemon(The meats such as the ham or bacon for example), yet the pokemon games never really do a good job admitting to the ingredients are definitely from pokemon, but never calls them as such despite early games had things like slowpoke tails as an actual delicacy but at the same time acted like normal animals exist somehow despite never showing them directly present.~~~
Ah the fun of paradoxical denial to supposedly keep the illusion of supposed child-wonder, when thats been broken many years ago in more ways then one.~~~
Anyway, cant wait for them todo the third legends series game where they take a 180 on the 2nd one where you have to do a survival style gameplay that is tooootaaaally not ripping off palworld and they act like pokemon are just shedding parts of thar body when knocked `unconscious` to tooootaaaally explain how you get food stuffs to fill your hunger gauge.~
Swear i feel that one writer of a manga about people having drop rate values and the world is all about items dropped from monsters to sustain itself would make a better pokemon `survival` game in comparison at that point.~

@@BladeSerphthe early game also have many foods that are made out berries and other nonsentient fruits.
Hence why its half a joke that gamefreak wants to keep up the `tradition` that pokemon eggs are just mysteriously found when pokemon are together and anything that would be food based that isn`t a veggie just exists in the game, just happens to mysteriously show up without splaination
Heck, atleast Curry dishes back with sword/shield had some flexibility but Scarlet and Violet did multiple waves of stepping back from quality.
From making TMs into consume`ables you had to do a complicated hyper specific resource farm of chasing specific pokemon down for thar `drops` to having two currencies where they effectively have no real difference and no real point to have two currencies when it could of just been `School points`, when effectively every single shop is associated with the school except the 1st DLC which just would use a field trip excuse anyway.
Throw in the whole `food thing` as such a main-stay focus they had to base an entire story arc of the 3 around it which might as well be a drug trip chasing of some `healing drugs` for a doggo, even though i found it entirely stupid as a round-about-way to create a Pokemon go equilvency of a lure incense to spawn a bunch of mons that is totally only useful for shiny hunts, mean its even more redundant to those that arent that much into aggressive shiny or IV/EV min-max shenigan hunts.
At that point i think people would of rather an expanded version of legends arceus that could of had a modern world segment as a sort of new game plus similar to lets go eevee/pikachu with some of the original base game stuff carrying over like the `guardian ride pokemon to keep up with the whole open world pitch.
Moral of the story: Im gone from playing Nintendo switch games and i can only hope they scrap alot of the crap they pulled with Scarlet/Violet and instead just do what Legends Arceus do but better for any future mainline games.
Craftable poke-balls and ACTUAL tools to help with catching, both in combat and outside (like lures, sleeping bombs, etc), were the best way to handle a crafting system and was a way better way to expand the catching mechanic, because i rather be able to sneak up on pokemons or run past them then constantly forced to go freaking SLOW, to not get dragged into a instance battle.
Battling is way better where either you have to run past pokemon to avoid getting attacked or you have to actually engage by throwing a pokemon out to start the battle `manually.`, Because scarlet/violet simply made wild pokemon the `pokemon trainers` even more so and made the scarlet/violet trainers more like lazier verisons of legends arceus trainers.

Keep in mind that either Arceus created Pokémon to look and function like every day objects that they would exist before (if not inspire the existence of), OR Pokémon just naturally evolved into those forms by sheer chance.

Especially with the mental picture of someone “licking” a Vanillite or Vanilish, OR licking/sucking Vanilluxe’s straw/canon.

Multiple pollution equals more poison/ghost type Pokémon.
I recall reading in an interview that the pokémon world is supposedly a world "without problems" which would explain why everything is so calm in there
Depends on the version of the Pokémon World. The Adventures universe is the most corrupt universe the franchise has. The Anime verse is the least corrupt. The games tend to be in between.

I have to remember that if Pokémon existed we’d all be dead constantly anyway not even cause of legendaries but because 5 idiots would absolutely have caught and released magcargos from pokeballs by now causing a literal nuclear explosion due to the scientific affects of releasing a being as hot as magcargo from a pokeball

@@daybreak5322 I mean yeah but this is on the assumption exclusively that we combine aspects of both worlds, magikarps can jump out of the atmosphere, canonically so at that according to Pokédex logic and team rocket survives getting launched all the time, we work on the assumption that the gravity in their world works quite differently from ours by such logics, if we take their worlds Pokémon our worlds science and gravity not only does it become instantly catastrophic but magcargos become portable easily accessible nuclear bombs with almost no restrictions to them, so it’s more plausible to ask what one would do if our world got replaced with the Pokémon world tomorrow than if Pokémon appeared in ours
just for the sake of clarity, releasing a magcargo would not cause the effect most people think it would. even if hypothetically it were to be as hot as the surface of the sun, it's surface area is obviously considerably smaller than that of the sun, limiting greatly how much heat it can release at any one time. it really wouldn't be all that dangerous unless you were to stand right against one
lightning strikes are about 5 times hotter than the surface of the sun, yet people can survive being struck by them. there's a lot more than just temperature to consider when thinking of the effects something may have
@@Deoix9877 standing next to magcargo is never an issue yeah but the mathematical formula for releasing a pokemon from a pokeball and the process of that combined with the actual heat of a magcargo even if contained somewhat is, not to mention if being realistic magcargos by our worlds laws probably would look more like shiny ones than normal ones

@@simonverse9466 i love how we create a story with a base and somehow its something that preety much would happen if the pokemon world humans decide to returnt with the pokemon s.x because in the past at lest in sinnoh a book mention marriage with pokemon so they at lest have one son or daughter with the powers of pokemon at lest that what i interpret with the psychics trainers every where in the pokemon world anyway it was good for me it simulate my creativity a bit that its something that was a bit need it for me this reply its much longer that need anyway thank you. Such as
Edible fish pokemon (I'd quickly kill them before cooking them)
Miltank
And any other pokemon that is eaten or is based off of an animal we eat (I'd not eat mareep or wooloo though)

Some Pokémon are farmed for food. These Pokémon have had the ability to use moves bred out of them, and behave as the livestock of our world do. Poke balls have been programmed to be unable to catch them.
These Pokémon are much larger than their wild counterparts.
Common livestock Pokémon are Tauros, used for their meat, Miltank, used for both milk and meat, Farfetch’d, for meat and eggs, (Galar version too, whom had the genes for evolution bred out for the most part) Magikarp, for meat, and Krabby for meat.
Each region has its own unique livestock Pokemon. Hoenn has the largest variety of seafood. My fan region, Algid, has the largest variety of frozen treats. (It’s frozen there, even in the summer. Average summer temps average mid to high teens in Fahrenheit. Anything above 25 degrees is very rare.)
Wasn't magikarp uneatable as it was mainly "bones" (don't know the correct word in English now)
Anyways, I feel that galar or paldea have more edible Pokémon... Doesn't paldea introduce more food-like Pokémon?

I believe the ones in the wild are bony while those raised for food are meatier.

Other times with magikarp like food that food might not be actual magikarp

In palworld you can explore the depths of immoral abysses where game freak refuse to tread. You can’t get rid of a pal you don’t need by releasing them, but you can craft a meat cleaver and literally butcher them to get a second lot of loot and remove the pal.
Or you can build bases and work the little pests like slaves in a gulag.
But I’m sure that these horrors will remain unaddressed in Pokémon

I haven't played it either but I disagree sorta whith the quote we can't progress without morality it goes against the vary meaning of progress and even then people are more likely to succeed in science through cooperation and a good goal rather than malicious intent one look at history will tell you that

welp, to be honest, when a Pokémon is captured with a Pokéball, the Pokémon behaviour suddenly changes with immediate affection towards the trainer, regardless of how they were captured or if they hated them before. so yeah, the way Pokéballs works seems to affect the Pokémon's Psyche (even if the Pokémon is a Psychic, Dark Bug OR Ghost type).
I have no Information source, but, I think that's not exactly how it works, Pokemon's can disobey you even if you capture them, just imaging KOing a Pokémon so it can't move or respond, if the fight seen by the Pokémon wasn't fair or was abusive, probably the Pokémon wouldn't like to fight for the trainer
I know that in games that doesn't happens, but in manga and anime is probably more common
