" in northern norway" nä nu jävlar!
Hon sa iallafall inte Danmark! 😂
Haha vafan.
Hahaha
Nävknytning in ficka intensifies
Oh no, I misspoke 😄 Of course I ment Northern Europe!! Not Norway. Sorry, Sweden ❤️
As a Swede I really enjoyed this video. And it might be the first time I hear someone mention my hometown that ain't from Sweden. I live in Djurås, where Västerdalälven and Österdalälven becomes Dalälven. The point where they meet up is actually really beautiful!
It looked very beautiful! Thanks for your comment 😄
Jag är svensk
Woow Im a Swede and this is amazing, the things you cover in 12 min is something local kids gets around 6 years of schooling to learn! I subbed on the spot, I love the concept!
Thank you so much 😄
@@TravelandGeography you messed up hard. ,''northern norway'' IT IS NOT NORTHERN NORWAY. FY FAAN.
"Sweden. We already know that it's in northern Norway." So, when did that happen?
När sa hon det? Måste ha missat det:/
@@rose-marielundholm3597 0:45
5 seconds later she says "Sweden lays in northern Europe" so I guess she just misspoke and said Norway instead of Europe since she is Norwegian herself?
No big deal.
Thanks for pointing that out 😄 That was a mistake, I meant to say Northern Europe! Not Norway 😊😊
Ha det undrar jag med
been to sweden last summer, a pretty country of pretty people
its so cool to see a place u have been before at!
“Here we can find flat green costal plains”
Me living in the Netherlands: Flat!? The only things I see are mountains!
Hahaha! I know what you mean, I'm Dutch, flat is something else in The Netherlands 😄
I mean flat is nice... but I’m kinda jealous of your mountains... the grass is always greener on the other side, or as we say in Sweden, “gräset är alltid grönare på andra sidan”
Really interesting video, I live in Sweden but I learned some new stuff thank you =)
Great, I'm glad to hear that 😄
When you dropped into a random location in northern Sweden, you dropped into a hill just outside of Abisko, which is a popular national park with amazing views.
The lake you spotted is Torneträsk.
Greetings from Skåne :)
Thanks for the info! 😄
Very well done. Plenty of good facts in a short time. Easy on the eyes too.
Thanks 😄
I was especially impressed by the landscapes in Northern Sweden! 😄 What else do you know about Sweden that I didn't mention? Edit: At 0:45 I made a mistake, I meant to say that Sweden lies in Northern Europe, not Northern Norway 😄 My bad!
Islands in the west coast generally have low density or no trees, while islands to the east have high density. And something interesting about islands in in the north. Since we had a lot of ice covering the area you can see scrapings from that era everywhere you look.
That Norway left the personal union with Sweden in 1905. Swedish troops were sent to the border, but the government reconsidered: "nah, enough with wars. We havn' t had one in 100 years. Let's wait for another 100 years and then evaluate."
Also a fun fact Sweden is the largest solar system module in the world
Bohuslän is like mini-Norway, the archipelagos, the valleys and the different types of forest.
@@neyvonswe Wow, that is interesting! I haven't really been to the west coast, so will look for that! 😄
The second touchdown is Skeppsbron. To the West is Gamla Stan. The ship is Af Chapman, a vandrarhem (hostel) since very Long ago. My mum stayed there around 1940 already. Furter east of the ship beyond Skeppsholmen (which is where the ship is anchored) is the the Gröna Lund entertainment park and Skansen. The Island to the South is Södermalm, the hipster inferno. If you walk 200m North, the Royal Castle is facing Skeppsbron.
And the road is cobblestone not bricks as a pet peeve.
Wow !
Very interesting!
WOW thank you for sharing another AWSOME video!
Stay Connected!
❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much 😄
Fina ord! Du hade bra uttal på våra städer också!
Tack så mycket 😄
Väldigt enkel och trevlig video! :)
Tack så mycket 😄
@@TravelandGeography Varsågod
I’ve always been fascinated with northern countries geography! could u do Estonia next?
Hi! I'm working up the alphabet, so unfortunately it will take some time before we reach Estonia. But, I just posted something on Estonia on my Instagram account: travel.and.geography, check it out if you want 😊
Travel and Geography Oh okay. Thank you!
Its too bad that most tourists in Stockholm actually miss ALOT, the archipelago of Stockholm for example is absolutely stunning in my opinion! And Visby on Gotland is one of the most beautiful cities we have in Sweden. Really worth a visit, a boat there usually takes around 2-3 hours!
Thank you so much for sharing!
Really enjoyed the video 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
i felt happy when you mentioned mariestad
If your looking almost due east and the sun is in the sky right in front of you, it’s not a lovely evening. It’s a rather beautiful morning. Because, you know, the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. Thank you for a really nice show and review though! Keep it up!
You are absolutely right, did not think of that 😄 Thanks!
Love from Sweden 😊❤️
@Hans Soloson are you kidding me
@Hans Soloson Yea the toilets are great!
Love back at you! ❤️
Nice and informative video.
Most Street View images has a dato tag in the bottom right corner, or you can find the info on icon of the person who uploaded it.
Thanks!
Pardon me for saying this but your accent is fricking adorable! Hälsningar från gamla Sverige!
Hahaha thanks 😄 I'm trying!
Bästa turistambassadören får Sverige! Bra jobbat!
Haha, tack så mycket 😄
My great grandparents left Sweden to New York they lived in Stockholm there last name's where westlund and Swenson. I still have family there.
Your pronounciation is really good actually!
Thanks 😄
Thanks
Don't worry about your Swedish pronunciation, it's fine. =)
Being a Swede I can hear your accent but as with most Norwegians, it's kind of a cute and non-threatening accent.
A few years back I and my brother drove from Stockholm to Langøya next to Lofoten. It was majestic, and even if we mostly used the E4 highway there are options. I full-heartedly recommend it to anyone. =)
That sounds like a great road trip! Haha, thanks! Didn't realize our accent was cute 😄
@@TravelandGeography You're welcome. :D
I guess 'cute' is in the eye of the beholder, but it's very non-threatening anyway. :)
nice video
I think there is more forest in sweden than 69%, some say its 85% forest cover and others only 50% forest cover, when I look at it it's basically looks like 95% forest cover and the rest is city and 5% agriculture.
The forest in sweden always looks so untouched even close to large city's. It looks so magical.
The whole country looks really green!
First time someone named the city I live in (Mariestad) that doesn’t come from Sweden or live in Sweden and it’s really rare that Swedish youtubers name it to because it’s such a little town 😅
Vafan ni har jue Mariestad öl... den är jue skapligt populär
Love from Strömstad.. 🙂
Me too, one more from Strömstad 👍😊
Thanks! Love from Sandefjord, connected to the ferry from Strömstad!
@@TravelandGeography Well that's why i loved this. :-D
Eyyy, mina norska kompisar!
Is helsingborg located in northern?
It's in the south :)
Du fick lite fakta fel in där, men ja gillade videon, kul och höra lite norsk uttal :) även om det är subtilt. Min mamma och hennes familj är född och uppvuxen i Skien/Porsgrunn. Kommer prenu. Och se mer!

Finish is closer to Russian then swedish and norwegian, so we don really understand what they say in finland, but itś close to danish.
Heja Camilla! Riktigt bra, faktaspäckad video! Måste kolla in din kanal. Klem!
Tack så mycket! 😄
Thats so damn scary, the place she put her cursor on the first time when zooming in on stockholm, is almost exacly where i live!
Cool 😄
:) Sött och roligt
Tack!
Doesn't Sweden originals from the "Tribe" Svear?
Yes, most probably. Same as in Götaland and Gotland, were Götarna ruled. Or Jämtland were Jämtarna lived :)
Perhaps. The English word "Sweden" = don't know at all. The Swedish/Norse word Svitiod exists along and before the Roman empire days. During the the centuries before christ, Swedes were called Suones by the Romans. The German tribes obliterating the Romans 100BC were originating from Sweden centuries before. Tall, blond, blue eyes and a harsh warrior mind. Good times.
So... skånska is the hardest for like... anyone other than them to understand, it sounds very very similar to danish but I have HEARD that danish people usually understand less of nit than like other Swedes and Norwegian people
So,you are from Finland or Norway
She is from Netherlands but she lives Norway
Hejsan, du glömde att kolla på Höga kusten i Ångermanland, där landet höjs efter istiden 👍🙂

0:44 Sweden is in northern Norway??
Yes! Haha, no, I made a mistake there, I meant Northern Europe :)
@@TravelandGeography okay :)
Hm... I'm learning (as Swede) :) Nice editing. But "Central part of Sweden"?... That would have been around Östersund and (somewhat) lake "Storsjön" (big Lake) allthough more to the south east.. ;)
Svealand is considered to be the middle of Sweden due to Norrland being very empty from people even though the land area is huge.
@@johnnorthtribe
People in the south of Sweden write off at least 1/4 of the country, just because they don't think it's important. I bet they'd change their mind if they weren't able to steal all our natural resources. 🙄 It's honestly infuriating to see people refer to Mälardalen as "the middle of Sweden".
@@attesmatte 1/3 of Swedens population live around Mälardalen so I am safe to say that I live in the middle of Sweden population-wise. 😉
@@johnnorthtribe
That's just BS, and you know it.
@@attesmatte It is just jealousy talking or complex being from northern Sweden. Politically Svealand is the middle of Sweden.
Your pronouciation was great, I assume you’re norwegian?
Yes, I live in Norway 😊
@@TravelandGeography But you are not norwegian?
@@TravelandGeography då borde du ha koll på att Sverige inte ligger i norra Norge :P

feels so weird being a swede hearing a norwegian talking about sweden in english and trying to pronounce swedish words/places 😂🙌

Not "brick" road, you build houses with bricks. The street is a "cobbled stone" street.. Heia Norge!!
The square-ish stones most often used resembles bricks more than they do anything "cobbled". Also, there are concrete bricks and lego bricks, so who says bricks must mean _tegel_ (burned clay) really?
Actually, Denmark is not part of Scandinavia. Scandinavia has its name out of the Scand mountain range running through Norway, Sweden and Finland.
Hahaha att du inte kan säga Östersjön😂😂😂
😄
3:02 You start off by zooming in the ugliest and most destroyed part of Stockholm... (Until 1952, that place was among the coziest places in town. The socialist regime didn't like that though, calling it pathetic and "bourgeois". So they teared down some 700 (!) beautiful buildings there, and planned for much more, before stopped by the 1973/74 oil crisis as well as by protesters.)
O wow, I did not know that. Thank you so much for explaining! 😊
Yes beautiful sweden. Soon to be a muslim country (Y)

"Language of Skåne" is not like danish, myth...🇸🇪
To a Norwegian it must sound similar, since it does to do many Swedes.
The Rs are similar... That's about it lol.
Haha everybody is turk lmao
Why’s that
Blekinge, Halland and Skåne are not Sweden. We are part of Denmark occupied by Swedish regime.
it's preeetty creepy to not blink once and stare at the camera like that, can you stop?
