    Nice to see you back with regular videos, You can also argue western most point of Europe is St. Pierre and Miquelon, a French territory geography on North American plate but politically and culturally Europe.

      @TravelandGeography  Před 2 lety +2

      Thank you! 😄 I don't know, I wouldn't consider it lying in Europe geographically as it lies very close to Canada, but I guess one can argue it is European. How about Cayman Islands? They lie even further west. Interesting input!

      @@TravelandGeography You are right about Cayman island, political it is Europe and make it the western most point. Azores's island's Corvo and Flores island are also on North American side plate of the north Atlantic ridge. Isn't geography interesting.

      Ahahaha tricky geography technicalities I was wondering with the Azores if they could even be considered European if they are on the North American plate

      @@dellaboca9737 The Azores are actually between 3 plates: the North American, African and European 🙃 This phenomenon is called the Azores Triple Junction, Fun!

    Lovely to revisit both Lisboa on mainland Portugal, and also the Azores. Both are well worth a visit. And I also look forward to Poland, a country that's close to my heart, and I'm desolated to see what is happening there politically 😞

      The Portuguese also introduced Samosas to India as well. Another fact I know that doesn’t help me in everyday life🤣🤣
