  • NEW SHIT!
    Please don't come yelling at me that you want this version! The 6-bolt is still better IMHO, but this is less work for you (unscrewing and screwing), less work for me applying Loctite to screws like a child in an Apple factory and easier for you to press down with your salad fingers!
    PLANET3 cares!
    P.S. Don't be a moron and try to use 3 titanium screws instead of the original ones for "weight saving purposes" on a 20 kg e-bike. I will know and I will murder you in your sleep. Seriously, though.. these have a 3,3 mm thick bolt head and will not fit underneath the sun gear.

    I would just like to say I have mine on my bike now for 6 months and I ride 35kms every day. It is a fantastic product and I’ve never had a problem with it . Thanks Alex , My levo is riding like it was built to do so👍🏻 cheers from Melbourne 🇦🇺

    Regardless of the reason why the revision, nice to see a company that continues to improve on a product. Much respect. I have the first model on both my Kenevos and have had zero problems. This is my 8 month review. When I buy my new bike, I will immediately purchase another one of these. Will never be without a Planet3!

    Planet3 is freaking amazing. The installation is really simple and if you fuck it up watch the CZcams videos a few times. Bike performs awesome and the only downside I can think of this is needing to buy an extra battery 🙈.
    A must buy if you want to enjoy your e-bike fully!

    Arrived in Western Australia 3days after ordering it, fitted in about 10mins and works a treat. It's a refreshing change to deal with people you deliver what they say they will. Thanks..

    Great device I have installed on the 2019 Como. I examined mine after 500 miles thinking I might need to blow out some dust but is was spotless inside and no visible wear. I don't need to go above 20mph often but it is handy when I need it. Get one

    Does the set come with 2 Magnets ? ( assume it then supports up to 37,5 km/h ) ?, how long is delivery time to Germany?

      All the info is on planet3.bike :) Dual planet config is +10 EUR if it's not dual by default (for Giant, Rocky Mountain, Shimano bikes).

    Hi Man, it is really fantastic product. I have some friends who already have planet3 and they are really satisfied, it works perfectly. I've just purchased a levo 2021 and I've seen that unfortunately the model is not compatible. Is there any way to make it work for this model? Than you very much

    • @planet3bike
      @planet3bike  Před 3 lety +1

      If you mean a 2021 Levo base model, then at the moment - no. Problem is the rear hub braking side end cap which has a concave profile onto which I can't really make a press-fit work. If it wasn't pressed onto the axle, you could easily remove it and I would've already produced a replacement. But, twats at Formula found a way to make an even cheaper garbage hub and Specialized was more than happy to put that shit on a 5 grand bike. In any case, the freehub is going to snap like a watermelon within a few weeks/months (depending on how often you ride) and then you'll upgrade your wheelset to a civilized set which is compatible with PLANET3. :) OR I'll finally get "lucky" and have a product that will be compatible with all Brose motors.. remains to be seen within a month or so.

      @BenHasch Před 3 lety

      @@planet3bike thank you very much for the reply. I really can't understand why they didn't keep the ones from the 2020 and older models. However, still hoping that maybe you'll be "lucky".
      Keep the great work up!

    Hi again do i need two magnets in my planet3 as I’m sure you mentioned this on one of your videos as the Rocky Mountain bike suffers from pedal lag with one magnet is that correct

    • @planet3bike
      @planet3bike  Před 2 lety

      All the bikes that need a dual planet configuration will come with a dual planet device by default (Giant, Rocky Mountain and YT Decoy), for the rest it is a matter of user choice if they want a lower speed limit (some people actually do).

  • @edsinofsky

    I'm getting a Vado SL, but also some aero wheels with Novatek boost hub. Will this work with it on the new wheels?

    • @planet3bike
      @planet3bike  Před 4 lety

      Hi Ed, it depends on the hub. For the Vado SL the general size constraints on the frame mean that you're better of going with a centerlock hub and a centerlock version of the PLANET3, but this again assumes that the hub end cap will have a smooth 19 mm diameter profile.

    • @edsinofsky
      @edsinofsky Před 4 lety
