The greatest experience I have ever had on a roller coaster was riding the Monster at night. When I was on it, they were running a crazy light show with every single bulb turned on, and I had my hands in the air. It was amazing.

Jesus christ, the lighting on this thing is so cool and it actually makes it look better at night. I am from Michigan and I am more than excited to go to Altoona Iowa to meet up with my friend from Berklee. I also read about the water park and the hotel resort sector. This whole place sounds like an entertainment kingdom.
This was on my FYP four years later I road this with my cousins 4 times in a row right before the park closed one of the best nights of my life

We rode it at night before and I can tell you it's awesome. This is one of my favorite roller coasters.

In my opinion, the ride itself isn’t a tenth of the ride experience of the Smiler. But the lighting is definitely much higher quality. It would be a dream to see the Smiler with a Monster trail!

Why was the timing of the comet-like lighting too early? I mean, those lights should be usually seen BEHIND the car rather than infront
They are usually behind the coaster instead of in front like in the off-rde video we posted, but then you wouldn't have been able to see the effect in the on-ride video.

I was able to figure out what's going on here. The roller coaster car moves slightly faster or slower depending on the weight of the riders. I believe this video was taken with only a single rider, so the car was moving a little slower than the lights.

I can say that this ride is in fact NOT slow. It looks like it is in videos, but it reaches a top speed of 60mph and only slows for maybe a second each time, so you don't actually 'feel' like you are slowing down very much. (I can only say this by my own personal experience. Some more serious coaster junkies might disagree lol)
I went on it this summer but it was day oo fun but not as cool

Where's the nearest Gerstlauer to Seattle?
Probably either Galaxy Orbiter at Galaxyland or Coastersaurus at Legoland California. However, those are not big coasters like this. The closest thrilling Gerstlauer to you is probably this.

Both coasters are designed by Gerstlauer and their lighting packages are both by KCL Engineering. The Monster is Hangtime's elder.

DevoRevoRules it does, at the time the cart had less people in it.
It seems waaay faster when you're actually on it, believe me! However, this coaster's main thing is hangtime, and not speed. It does the hangtime really well!

i been on this ride a lot because i live 2 miles from adventure land inn and adventure land and i have season passes for a long time science 2009 and I have mine for 2017 summer
I've been on it eleven times if I recall correctly! That was also the same day the park was nearly empty and I rode the Space Shot 33 times!
Ultimate Steve I went on the space shot at the fair and I had a migraine and got sick LOL
