I tried this in the microwave instead... using my reusable cupcake holders... 1/2 teaspoons of the batter as she does here in each cupcake holder … I did 6 at a time and found that cooking 2 minutes at full power is what it took in my microwave to get to the crisp stage.

made one enormous chip in the microwave; was perfectly browned all over (and super crispy). This method is easier and more efficient than trying to shape individual chips on a parchment. this is AWESOME! Thank you for the great idea of using cottage cheese as a chip.

Tried this in a nonstick pan with Great Value small curd 4% milk fat. The first batch browned fast on one side and almost burned using medium heat. They tended to stick and rolled up when I turned them. I used a little olive oil spray on the pan for the second batch and low heat for a longer time. This worked better. The chips turned out “almost crisp.”

They can be made larger (using 2 tablespoons of cottage cheese, makes ~8 chips) but might not work to make one massive chip. In my experience, it has resulted in them burning around the edges and not fully melting at the center. Sorry, that does sounds awesome & SO much easier.
