  • It's time to give our 2018 Subaru Crosstrek a proper lift kit and get it ready to go off road. We decided to run the ReadyLIFT 2inch lift kit along with the Method Race Wheels MR502 VT-SPEC 2 15x7 +15 wrapped in the BFGoodrich Mud Terrain KM2 215/75R15 tires.
    I wanted to give a proper review so we decided to take it out for a spin in the mud. So how does it stack up against the stock setup? Let's find out.

    Thank you sooo much for the great review video!! Loved the setup and recommendation package, and planning to get them on my manual 2019 crosstrek! What do you think about a 225 instead of a 215? Would there be rubbing? If there is, do you think it's worth the improved performance?

    Those Crosstreks look awesome in that shade of blue but I wish desert khaki was still a color option. Still undecided if I should lift my ‘17 but the fact that this kit doesn’t require the additional spacers in the rear is starting to sway me!

    I had 350 mile on the car when we did the lift, wheels and tires. Ill tick 29,000 miles today on my drive home from work. Im also running the larger 235/75/15 and there were basically no issues till I installed mud flaps, slight flap trimming and problem solved.

    Crosstreks really need a rear locker. On older foresters (before CVT) you could electronically, manually lock the center diff but the only thing you can do on the crosstrek is a rear locker to make it competent off road.

      They specifically say on the sight of you run this lift with 235/75/15s you’ll be required to trim mud flaps and then move the fender liner in 1inch and trim front bumper valence, there is instructions on how to do all this in the pdf file on ready lifts website

    • @flatblackandy
      @flatblackandy Před 4 lety +2
