- Welcome to the second installment where we cut big holes in our cargo trailer. In this episode we tackle our second project. Installing windows!
The 2 parts of Gnomad Adventures are Kevin and Kelsey. We decided to take on the challenge of converting a 6x12 cargo trailer into an off grid tiny house camper. As we dive head first into this new chapter we decided to document things along the way. Bear with us as we navigate thru the conversion process while working full time jobs and learning how to capture our adventure in a cool and captivating way.

Love that Jason Momoa slow Mo intro.
You’re inspiring me to try to weld. Did a bit in college but might have to try it here too.
Great video! Thanks for the information. Hope you guys are still enjoying your trailer/camper!😊👍🏾

I'm totally invested! Bloopers are my favorite!!
BOOPers!
Great looking welds there boiiii
Dude good camera presence. the right team you could be famous
Lovin' it so far, I'm doing the same thing but w/ a 6x10... and fairly sure we'd be besties if we knew each other. :)) Keep it up!
Maybe we'll run into each other out in the wild doing trailer thangs!
Thanks for sharing! What kind of weld did you do on the interior for the cross bracing? Did the heat discolor the paint on the outside of the trailer at all?
I am also have trouble finding stuff. My kid lost his glasses this morning, and they don't seem to be anywhere in this house.
Boopers: Noun Def: 1.) booper is a blooper on bloopers. 2.) My new favorite word. See also 'Sturdied up'
So u used a jigsaw? To cut for window
You use tools to change the disc on your grinder ?
If you have to cut anymore steel get some cutoff wheels for that grinder
I'm just using the wrench that came with my grinder to switch back and forth from the cutoff wheels and the grinder wheel. Don't want any sharp edges!

I'm just messin with you, I've been a welder for 40 years.
You can spin those discs off of the grinder without tools by wearing a welding glove and hitting the edge of the disc with the palm of your hand in the off direction. It just takes some practice.
Little tricks of the trade to save time I learned back when I was a welders helper working on pipelines
I like your videos, I subscribed a couple days ago
Shouldn't the ring go on after you have the plywood back up?
That's definitely an option but we were planning on sort of framing it out. We knew it was going to be a while before we got the insulation and paneling on so this left us with both options.
No windows in my trailer, wireless cameras
Making the music louder than the narration is really obnoxious.
