My daughter and I make your tuna gimbap almost every weekend. I prep everything she rolls cuts and presents it beautifully. She's sixteen and loves cooking. I think this weekend we'll try this instead!

@@Maangchi we did make it over the weekend and everyone loved it! The kids always bring some to school the next day and their friends are always wowed by them so they share them around!

I really admire Maangchi doesn't cut the parts when she washes her hands!! Soooooo thoughtfull~
She seems to be having OCD, I've been watching her for ages now and sometimes her handwashing is pointless af
@@arvellinlove when preparing raw chicken prior to cooking, you MUST wash your hands and utensils if your going to reuse them. This is how you don’t get food poisoning lol. This is the first rule working in the food business

@@zomgkb im not saying washing hand is pointless im saying is I've watched all of her videos and sometimes her hand washing doesnt make sense like once she did after cutting garlic who does that? This is what happen when people excessively encourage something then the creators over do it, which seems to me like a desperate call for flattery

I had to laugh when Maangchi was cooking the chicken, because my stove at home is also not level, and that's how I have to cook all the time!

I'm a German Russian American, and because your videos introduced gimbap to our household, my kiddo is now very excited when I make gimbap for her school lunches. And I'm sure someday her kiddos will be very excited when she does the same for them. And then someday when I'm too old to roll my own gimbap, I will be very excited when someone makes this delicious treat for me 🥰 Good food is like good music. It's appreciation is universal. Thank you, I just made it and it was delicious. The chicken was perfect, I didn’t have the yellow radish so I substituted it with avocado and cucumber. Thank you for sharing your recipes from your lovely country! ♥️

@@elaineq9565 yes I just try to rinse the knife after every cut or so. Sometimes cutting it with the plastic helps too : )
Thank you for another delicious recipe. I didn’t have any Danmuji, so I soaked some daikon radish in soy sauce, rice vinegar and sugar for and hour. It was my quick pickled radish. My gimbap turned out delicious. Your videos always make me smile and your personality radiates warmth. Keep these videos coming! ☺️

I made this 김밥 for the first gathering with my group of friends since the pandemic, after we'd all been vaccinated. Everyone loved it and finished all four rolls I made! (I should have made more haha). It was a great time. Thank you Maaangchi! :)

I made a variation of this for my dinner last night and for lunch today and tomorrow (I live alone). I added a little carrot, cucumber, and lightly cooked shitaki mushroom. I don't know if it was authentic, but it was delicious!

I made this but with chicken breast in a air fryer, danmuji and added other veg and it tasted so so nice!!!! It was a pain as I lost my bamboo thingymajiggy but I managed it in the end 😂
