Hi everyone! I'm an American from the Northeast (New England). I want to create a watering hole for people who want to discuss, learn and teach about history through CZcams videos which you guys recommend to me through the comment section or over on Discord. Let's be respectful but, just as importantly, not be afraid to question any and everything about historical records in order to give us the most accurate representation of the history of our species and of our planet!
Having a diverse perspective is crucial to what I want to achieve here so please don't hold back! I want to learn about all I can! Keep recommending and PLEAESE join my Discord :) ( / discord )

"that moonshine gives you 4 wheel drive" 🤣🤣
That spaghetti creation was from a rather famous/infamous CZcams account called Kay's Cooking - there are loads of videos reacting to her recipes.
That was a hilarious watch😂😂😂
Once you've beaten the world with an Empire that the planet will never see the size of again due to nuclear weapons.
I think it's fair to say... put your feet up.
When the potato arrived in Europe the French integrated it into the salad dressing, and part of the restaurant culture.
In Britian they chopped it up into small pieces then threw it into a large boiling bucket of FAT, then threw in a fish. Presentation of this culinary creation? Wrap it in yesterday's newspaper.
But who ended up with the bigger empire?!
Then the USA added more sugar and became a supersized power
I remember a TV show featuring a swap between a British policeman from a village in rural Sussex and his counterpart from South Central LA. It was pretty funny.
Shit I need to find that 😂
@@Harryjw67 If I remember correctly, the average age in the village was about 70, the bobby was on first name terms with them all and he bicycled round asking how their grandkids' exam results had gone. The American guy said everyone was very nice to him, but there was no crime so he didn't know what to do.
Meanwhile, the British guy was taken on drug busts and a helicopter ride across the city. He wanted to know what equipment was making the pinging sound he could hear and they told him it wasn't a machine, it was the sound of bullets hitting the metal plate under the chopper.
@@leohickey4953 if you remember when abouts you saw it or what channel it might’ve been on, I’d really appreciate it. Sounds brilliant 😂
6:06 That's Kay's Cooking right there.
Don't tell him
Last time I was in the US, I was at my cousin's party and they got me on the moonshine and I heard them say "let's get this brit drunk" and I said, I'll fookin' show you how to get drunk and we all ended up completely smashed.
I absolutely DESPISE the American made up non word ‘normalcy’
It is NOT a word and drives me crazy whenever I hear it.
The correct word is normality - nor mal it tee
Normality (!)
Grrrrrr!
If you want to get technical, literally EVERY word in existence has been made up at some point. And new words arise all the time, it is how languages evolve. That is like complaining that English isn't the same language it was 1000 years ago. No it isn't the same, what do you expect?
They do keep saying that the Brexit benefits will turn up eventually. What they mean by this is that continental drift will eventually bring us closer to the US east coast. Sometime after the human race has expired.
The biggest Brexit benefit of all is being out of the corrupt, undemocratic and failing EU.
I with you when it comes to Guinness 👍
I enjoy how UK vids like this invariably include things from Ireland and just never allude to the fact that it's actually not from Britain. Guinness is great by the way - cheers from Ireland!
I like ZZ Top man
That was definitely a turd
There's no accounting for taste I guess. Have you tried the new 0% alcohol Guinness? Most people over here love it, too!
About the cops, I know some swedish police was on training in the US, they arrested some dude on a train, there's youtube video of it... czcams.com/video/pBekdnGWAcs/video.html
My partner literally moved here from Germany on the grounds that she loves Shakespeare and the Royal Family and the 'Great' in Great PROPAGANDA Britain. Sometimes I just find myself squinting at her.
Great Britain doesn't mean it is great in the sense of it being a great place to live, it means great because it is the largest island in the British Isles. The old way great was typically used was to describe something big, not describe something good.
"Partner" just say you're a homosexual already.
What the hell did I just watch!? 🤔 ... I am soo confused! 😁
It was tolerable until that kid talking on the video started running down the UK over Brexit.
You won, get over it.
Funny shit.
These remoaners can't let it go
Hey Connor- I reckon you’d enjoy the Frankie Boyle Mock the Week Scenes we’d like to see compilations.
Aye, I'm glad that I am not French.
At a guess, so are the French.
Trump's shoes are really not that ugly (I wouldn't wear them, though), but as a President, he ought to know he's disrespecting the flag by putting pieces of it on them... 😅
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The decadence of our civilization in full display! ... sigh ...
They have done the British American police swop thing- I saw a bit of the American side-he was really bored, it was in the countryside. Brexit was definitely insane, but we are stuck with it.
This guy has obviously never seen politicians in other countries- they are all toddlers, not just ours.
No neither of us have the "misfortune" to live in a country like France where the working man/woman in the street is put first by their government (mainly because failure to do so ultimately leads to the guillotine).
In all fairness, there is no public house in Britain that can pour a pint of Guinness, like it's poured in Ireland. Don't care what anyone says, no Irishman or woman ever ever got a good pint of Guinness in the UK.
Have you been to every single pub in the UK?
Well that’s not what my Irish friends living in London say. Granted the good pints are usually in Irish pubs, but they are in London, UK. If you’re ever over here I recommend Skehans and the Dog and Bell for starters
😂😂
With you until it started dissing Brexit.
But he who made the comment about St Nigel and his kids is absolutely correct. Has Brexit prevented `illegals` coming here ? Clearly it has not. But it has certainly stopped us from moving to continental Europe - except for those of us that have a minimum of a million euros to invest in continental Europe.
@@dogwithwigwamz.7320 Brexit was not just about protecting borders, it was about the ability to self govern. We have BRINO, we are still handcuffed to the EU in countless ways. Anyhow this isn't the forum for talking about such in depth subjects as this. I bid you good day.
@@dogwithwigwamz.7320 A small price to pay and if I may say so irrelevant to pretty much everybody for having our national sovereignty returned....And being in the EU didn't stop the illegals either, but being out of the EU has certainly stopped free movement.
@@waspotty5417 Really ? Self govern, you say !
What would you imagine the first thing a UK Government would do after leaving the European Union if it was self governed and had in mind accountability toward British citizens ? It would be to stop illegal immigration. Something it has singularly failed to do.
Consider self government when it comes to abilities to trade with other countries throughout the world, unshackled by the European Union. Tell me, how`s that coming along ?
Not least was the bad idea of leaving the European Union is that the rest of the world would notice - and no country out there in the big new post Brexit world owes us a favour.
If only we could have left on the quitet !
@@richardhumphrey2685 The free movement, you`ll notice, has been in only one direction. We are no longer free to sojourn Europe and free to live in any one of 27 EU Nations. Whilst the `illegals` still arive here in ever increasing numbers.
