Highlights from the 2012 Saloon Stock Cars World Championship event filmed at Smeatharpe Stadium on the 11th August 2012.
This video features highlights from the Championship race which was won by local driver 1 Eddie Darby to claim his second World title in as many years.
Also included are 3 interviews from the pre meeting coverage with 1 Eddie Darby, 720 Shane Brown and 499 David Aldous with all of whom these 3 have their sons competing in the 2023 Championship race on the 30th September at Smeatharpe Stadium.

Man I miss oval racing here in South Africa. In the 80's I raced against you guys and the Aussies regularly. Speedway, Stock cars and 1600 hot rods. Glad to see you guys are still going at it.
