I really just feel like people are boycotting this season because of the stupid consumables. Clan battles was the only thing to get a break from the crazy matchmaker in randoms, and then they bring us this.
my clan and i were not exited for the new cbs, but we had alot of fun honestly. If they balanced the heals and we saw more diversity in the consumables taken it would be so fun. Very refreshing

We had so much fun with 0HP that WG had to pull Clan Battles twice to fix their bugs. That's just clan battle gimmicks. I can't wait for their new CV rework

I disagree. The support consumable caused chaos. There were no instructions about the equipment tab or the new box added next to ship types. I had several clan quit after one game. Reading up took much longer. There were no positive comments. Most did not play Piñata battles so did know or understand the effects.WOWs screwed up with how they released these consumables.

What's with the using AP on the DD's (those Kleber's and game b4 I think) when you have SAP? Is the SAP not so good?
BB SAP does 10% damage max to DDs. AP overpens also do 10%. Colombo max AP damage is just slightly lower than its SAP (12000 vs 12500) , hence it isn't worth switching if you have the AP already loaded. You could always switch for the next volley, but you might also be waiting on a cruiser to show broadside, so keeping the AP isn't a big damage loss against the DDs while also allowing you to seize an opportunity if it presents itself.

@@dovaskostasgr on a DD, 280mm or bigger AP shells will always do overpenetration damage, this was changed back in 2018
@@PYTqwer Something else worth noting is that SAP saturates and AP doesn't. That's reallt imprtant against the French DD meta.
@PYTqwer no check the video again the moment to kleber YOLO him you see and pen hits if is broadside dd you have only overpen in that moment to shouting the bow he overpen the bow and after having pen damage because hitting second the another part of the ship

On the PTS. Play a new shiny D Day Campaign. Everyone got screen freeze during the mission. Oh boy, I hope WG fix this issue before the actual campaign is launch. With all my life trying PTS server. Never,once in my life time experience this stupid bug. How bad is this bug? Well the game totallr froze and the match still on going. It affect everyone within the match. You have to literally shutdown the game to fix this issue.
So about the new D Day campaign. It is alright, far more challenging and less annoying. Everyone force to play Tier VII German DDs, which isn’t a bad thing, German DDs have hydros anyways. You have to drop sea mines which basically an Airstrike. Half way from the first mission you have to kill a Dido. Dido will make you unable to deploy sea mines, and you need 10 airstrikes to complete the mission. Use smoke and try to make a DD gunboat build. Torps can be only useful at close range. Don’t worry, the game give you a passive heals, it doesn’t heal fast tho, so make sure to have health management. CVs can be tricky tho, it is Furious and you have to kill her for secondary task. Take your time kill DDs, usually if you can sustain health and survive a first phase, you should be able to kill CVs no issue. Nelson and Queen Elizabeh are also good target to sink. Although the game right now is quite a buggy mess. Needs further testing. Never seen a bug that cause the game to be unplayable before in WOWs history. Basically, sometimes you kill Dido and the Airstrike still locked. Which cause the game unable to deploy sea mines which is the primary task. Cause the game to be defeat. Or that time where screen freeze and you can’t do anything for the rest of the game. And the only way to escape this freeze is to close the game from Task Manager.
Edit on the Clan Battle consumables. You can only have so many to go into a battle. I think the repairs are limited to only 2 people can have it.
I don't know. We had 4 people on team repair, one DD with whatever and two forced stalemates. This was on Wednesday this week
Repair is the only consumable that can be brought by all 7 players. Limitation are visible in division window. Not all type of ships have access to all type of consumables tho.
No, repair can be taken by all 7 people so long as you have no dds, it is also the strongest consumable, hence why it is so cancerous since you can have 140% heals for everyone on top of personal heals.

The que is long because of the crazy consumables. Over the last several seasons, it's never been more than a minute. I have no desire to play CB with gimmicks.

be me, a decent enough player searching for a clan for fun clan battles - tons of ways to join clans and invites galore - uh okay this one has most of its port buildings done, decently populated and about near the same or above W/R than me, let's join that one - ask to join clan, squad leader peruses profile notes W/R and specific ships attached to the account (we will come back to that later), he and friends accept me in excitedly like a bro and invites me to clan battles, instantly assigns me to your "most meta" or unique ship that he picked you up for knowing that an average or decent enough player can lead (usually applies to rare or meta DD ships like the Smalland imo), now every game night is the same, live and win the game, the guy who side-shown in the first 2 minutes dies (while having fun) and celebrates while you sweat it out - if a loss while your alive or worse if you die early like DDs, everyone silently (or not) blames the loss on you, rinse and repeat. Ask to change ships (or class) and the slot is always full or the player there is in the most meta class they have or it is a one time bait and pacification. Note: I am sure clans with average - decent players that aim to have fun by aiming to have all of their teammates having fun for the longest time as possible, together. I don't know, I have been unable to find one but they need to exist, else why are there so many full clans. I'm just burned out on joining around, I like to play but can't make every game which is also a huge no no for some decent clans which is fair to them. Also just pointing out, some clans (players in clans) are in fact actually toxic, but that is in every community, uncommon in my experience here, and not exactly what I'm discussing, I am just trying to be fair.

I think the minefields ruin the flow of the game. The other consumables didn't hurt gameplay much, but the minefields brought things to a halt.
Agreed. I also think the heal should be restricted to only tye BBs getting it too
on the gouden leuw or the marseille, you should have used SAP. You would have dealt way more damage

Gonna have to disagree with you on this one PQ. A whole team stacking heals so no one dies and misplays aren't punishable isn't fun. Zero restrictions leading to comps where people stack OP ships with no downsides isn't fun. We've played this whole week and every one is looking at this season as just a joke. Here's hoping Season 26's tighter lockdown on meta ships will lead to more interesting and varied comps and games.
